"Here" Devon place another box of tissue in front of me.

As stupid as it sounds but I had no choice but to call Devon for help. She picked me up after sharing the location and as horrible it may look, she saw me crying my eyes out while sitting at the pavement.

We both look down to my phone but this time it's not Ice or Anderson calling but Carlisle.

"It's long distance, what do you expect?" She bluntly stated after telling her what happened.

I had no one and I need to vent out this overwhelming emotion so I told her what happened.

Carlisle: can we talk? Just the two of us?

"Uhm..." I look up to Devon who seems to guess what I will have to say "can you please drive me to a nearby cafe?"

She exhaled tiredly before standing up to pick her keys from the table.

"Thank you, I owed you a lot" I sincerely say but ignored.

My boss drove me to the cafe but she had no choice but to stay as well because apparently I don't know the direction back to the hotel and right now watching her picking a table to the far corner of this cafe with her laptop.

This is too much of hassle and embarrassment but what options do I have?

"Summy, hey!" Carlisle calling me out whilst sitting in one of the table but with Ice and Anderson.

Her face instantly turned to apologetic after my eyes landed to Ice then to hers in disappointment "I'm so sorry Summy. I know I told you that just us but I can't. You have to hear Ice explanation because you know that I will not tolerate it" she sighed "she has a reason Summy and it's far from cheating on you, believe me, it's just....complicated right now but she will explain everything"

I'm aware that Ice is staring at me but too scared to meet her gaze and too stunned to see her all of a sudden.

"Sorry Summy but both of you have to talk" she says between standing with Anderson and that's where my heartbeat pounding incredibly fast, knowing that we will be left alone and this cafe has few customers.

I look over to Devon and meet her gaze before she focuses back to the laptop.

"We will be just outside Alfresco" Carlisle giving me a tight hug while Anderson lightly tapping my shoulder.

And now leaving me no choice but to sit in front of Ice that I'm still avoiding her eyes by looking down to my fidgeting finger.

"Summer" she calls out and damn, I miss her so much but there are so many questions inside my head.

I can't. Because the memory earlier is rewinding right now. Sam walking out from her room. The painful fact that maybe they sleep together, that maybe they spend the night together that's why she can't call me just like before. Or the fact where she was so busy from the past few days is because of Sam.

"Summer we have to talk" my system suddenly being electrified when she calls me from my reverie "can you please look at me baby"

"Who is Samantha?" I finally asked and now our eyes are locking but mine was teary and hers is guilt.

"She's my patient"
