"What?! Why didn't somebody wake me up?!" Naruto shouted, jumping up from his futon and scaring a sleeping Satoru who was a few feet away from him.
"What..?" Satoru grumbled out, wiping his eyes. As he came to his senses, he looked around the guest room, seeing only Naruto, who was frantically throwing off his sleeping clothes and putting on his usual Shinobi outfit and gear. "They left without us?!" Satoru shouted, finally understanding why Naruto was yelling and quickly getting dressed.
Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura, and Tazuna left to go to the bridge an hour before, leaving the two exhausted boys to sleep in. Kakashi assumed their extreme use of Chakra the day before would leave them bedridden all day.
After Satoru and Naruto got their clothes on, they rushed through the home, saying goodbye to Tsunami, before running out the door.
"Arg... They could've woken us up." Naruto grumbled out as him and Satoru quickly jumped through trees on the way to the unfinished bridge.
"I actually agree with you for once... I can't believe they left without us." Satoru then noticed a dead boar on the ground below them. He took a good look at it before stoping in a tree.
"Huh?" Naruto stopped in a tree a head of the white haired boy. "What're you doing? Let's catch up! They're gonna fight Zabuza without us!"
"Shut up Naruto. We don't even know if Zabuza will show. Look at that." Satoru said, motioning Naruto to follow him as he jumped towards the dead boar. "Somebody cut this up with a katana... Why did they just leave it here." Satoru then looked around at the trees, noticing that they all had various cuts and slashes on them.
"Woah it's like somebody was practicing with a sword. The marks lead back to Tazuna's house! Tsunami and Inari are there! Gato probably sent men after them."
"Yeah, let's go Naruto!"

Upon arriving at Tazuna's home, Satoru and Naruto saw Inari charging towards two men with katanas. Tsunami was unconscious on the ground.
"Go, Naruto!"
Naruto rushed towards Inari, quickly grabbing him and Tsunami, using a substitution Jutsu before the two men could slice through the young boy.
