After Naruto and Sakura bombarded Satoru just after he woke up, they started a fire. Naruto and Sasuke went out to catch fish. They returned with four - one for each member of Team 7.
The four of them sat around the fire, waiting impatiently for the fish to cook.
"It's already been four days since the second exam began." Sasuke said, poking the fire with a stick. "We're sure not going to break any records, and we only have 24 hours left."
"I wonder how many other teams have already gotten their scrolls and finished..." Sakura said.
'I wonder when this fish is going to be done. I could eat a whale!' Naruto thought as he stared at the cooking fish.

"We have to face it... there might not be any Heaven Scrolls left..." Sakura said, taking a bite out of her freshly cooked fish.
"Well isn't that a cheerful thought." Satoru said with a sigh as he scarfed down his fish.
"I mean, it's true. Sasuke already said it. We've been out here for four days, meaning we've already used up 80% of the time we have to complete the exam. Only thirteen teams can pass because they're are only thirteen pairs of Heaven and Earth Scrolls. And if that's not bad enough, things have only gotten worse. Don't forget that creep Orochimaru burnt the Heaven Scroll we had."
"Yeah, I remember..." Sasuke said.
"The teams that can pass because of that has already been decreased by one, not to mention all the other teams that have already found scrolls and have completed."
"Maybe we gave ourselves too much time to rest and recover after our last fight. From here on, we've got to get serious. We have to make up for lost time. The next enemy we face could be our last chance." Sasuke said, standing up from his sitting position. "I'm gonna go get water. Come with me, Satoru."
"Got it." Satoru said, getting up and quickly following after the Uchiha boy.
As the two started walking to the nearby river, Satoru tripped over a branch, falling forward and landing on his arm. He let out a grunt of pain as he slowly started to sit up.
