"It's time to begin. My name is Morino Ibiki, your proctor for the first test of the Chunin Exam. And from this moment, your worst enemy."
Everyone's jaw fell slack at the man's words. Worst enemy? No one truly wanted to know what he meant by that.
"First," Ibiki started, pointing to the back of the classroom. "You, Hidden Sound Ninja, knock it off! Who said you could fight? Do you wanna be failed before the exam starts?!" His voice rung through the entire classroom, strong and authoritative.
"Sorry, it's our first time here. We're a little jumpy... sir." The Sound Ninja that punched Kabuto said, his voice not sounding sincere in the slightest.
"I'll say this just once, so listen up. There will be no fighting amongst yourselves unless given permission by a proctor. Even if you do have permission, the use of fatal force is strictly prohibited. Anyone who even thinks of disobeying me will be failed immediately. Got it?!"
The whole classroom stayed silent at Ibiki's words. The tension in the room was so thick, it could almost be cut with a knife.
"Now, if you're ready, we'll proceed to the first stage of the Chunin Exam. Hand over your paperwork. In return, you'll all receive a number that determines where you will sit. We'll start the written test once you are all seated."
"The... written test...?" Naruto whispered out. "Did he say paper?"
At Naruto's words, one of the established Chunin standing beside Ibiki held up a stack of papers, making Naruto fall to his knees and scream, much to the dismay of everyone else in the room.

'85...' Satoru thought as he stared at the number at his seat, he was near the back of the classroom. There were people behind him, but not too many. He could see his fellow squad mates. Sakura and Sasuke were calm and collected, while Naruto was visibly panicking. If Satoru was being honest, he was nervous about taking a test. He considered himself pretty smart, he graduated the academy with a 4.0 along with Sasuke, but this is the Chunin Exams... the test could be on a whole new level.
'Oh man... Naruto doesn't look too good. I really hope he can pass this test...' Sakura thought as she looked a few rows ahead of her own to see Naruto, who was not in to good of shape.
