The sun began to set over the forest. Fading Sunlight peaked through the trees, casting a warm glow on Sasuke and Satoru. The two of them deep in thought.
Itachi's words echoed through Sasuke's mind. Masaki's face flashed through Satoru's.
Satoru slowly raised his hand into the air, placing it right beside of Sasuke's face, before balling it into a fist. The Uchiha did the same, brushing their hands together before they both took low fight stances.
'All I cared about was killing my brother as soon as possible! What a fool I've been. Satoru, Naruto, Sakura! How can I ever hope to defeat him if I can't face the demon in front of me!' Sasuke put a kunai in his mouth, rushing towards the Ninja.
'Training for my father, getting stronger for my father, getting stronger to kill my father... My whole existence has been about him. I've only focused on him. And where has that gotten me? Focusing on my friends, building bonds with them, training with them... That has made me stronger. This demon in front of me threatens my life. Threatens my friends lives. Sasuke's life. I won't let her!' Satoru rushed forward behind Sasuke.
The Uchiha jumped into the air, throwing kunai and shuriken at the Ninja while Satoru came in from below, throwing multiple strikes at the Ninja.
She dodged the kunai and blocked Satoru's strikes, but before she could retaliate, Sasuke dropped in from above kicking and punching her.
Satoru and Sasuke attacked the Ninja in perfect synch. Wherever one fell behind, the other would be right there to pick up the slack.
Miraigan and Sharingan darting back and forth, picking up the Ninja's every movement as she dashed through the forest.
"Fire Style, Fireball Jutsu!" Satoru shouted, sending a large flame at the Ninja.
"Fire Style, Phoenix Fire Jutsu!" Sasuke sent multiple smaller balls of fire at the Ninja, who dodged and weaved every attack. She borrowed into the large tree branch they were standing on, moving towards to the two at high speeds. She stopped right in front of them, using her arm to swipe at their feet. Satoru and Sasuke both jumped backwards, the Tsukinaga throwing multiple shuriken towards the Ninja, which were dodged and deflected.
'They can see... All my movements are being read and predicted... The Miraigan and the Sharingan working in perfect harmony...'
