                                   Chapter Eight.

"Peyton, get up!"
I blinked open my eyes only to be hit in the head with a pillow, by my currently, very annoying roommate. "What?" I snapped, obviously still sleepy.

Don't ever wake the bear up. Ever.

"Nap time is over, get ready," she instructed, continuing to hit me with the pillow one last time. I sat up, letting out a very obnoxious yawn. "Where are we going?" I questioned as Zoey sat at the desk, curling her long blonde hair. "Bowling."

Bowling? I don't bowl. Unless it's a big bowl full of cereal.

Before I could even respond there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" Zoey shouted. The door swung up and in walked my big brother. "Hey babe," Zoey greeted. He smiled before walking over to me. "Nice to see you sleeping in your bed instead of a football field," he glared. I rolled my eyes.

Was that comment really necessary?

"Trust me, that won't ever happen again," I mumbled. "Right." He started walking to Zoey. "Get ready, I'll be back at 6 to pick you guys up." We both nodded in agreement, he gave Zoey a kiss and then left.

Douche.

I was sitting down beside of Zoey, both of us lacing up our bowling shoes. Declan was over by the vending machine with his two friends: Aiden and Max.

"I am going to lose so bad," I laughed. "You'll do great," Maya, Max's girlfriend, encouraged me. I gave a light smile, "I guess it'll be a lot more fun since Sage isn't-" I stopped mid sentence when the boys walked over with Sage and some blonde attached to his side.

I'm sick. Just plain nauseous just at the sight of them.

"Alright, let's play!" Declan cheered. Everyone began to scramble, we were all looking for our perfect ball.

There it was.

The teal and black, 6lb bowling ball, sitting on the rack across the room. I speed walked over there, reaching for it when my hand hit someone else's.

The blonde that Sage was wearing.

Perfect.

"You can have it, if you want it," I moved my hand, smiling. She scoffed, "oh, I know." I gave her a weird look.

Bitch.

I changed my mind. I DO want it.

I reached my hand out, taking the ball and her face was priceless. "Actually, I think I it want it." She tried taking it away from me, but I held it too tight. "I had it first." She argued like a middle schooler,.. or a toddler...

Definitely a toddler.

I could feel eyes on us as Sage approached. "What's the issue?" He asked, standing between us. "The issue is, she took my ball." Confidently and flirtatiously, I looked at her, at Sage, and then back at her again. A devilish grin on my face. "Can't take it if it wasn't yours in the first place."

Her jaw quite literally almost dropped to the floor.

Sage let out a little laugh, causing her to shove his chest. Satisfied with myself, I took the ball and went back to our lane.

Two can play the be a bitch game.
