Chapter Thirty-Three

I blinked open my eyes, the sun peeking through the blinds.

Ugh, it's morning.

I heard Sage's light snores, looking over to see him laying on his back. I studied him for a second, still in awe of what he said.

He loves me. Wow, I didn't see that one coming... but boy, do I love him too.

I maneuvered my way over him and out of bed, headed towards the shower, ready to get my day started and over with because really, I just want to go back to campus, and start moving.

I hopped into the shower, the steaming hot water running over my head. I closed my eyes, relaxing. Ya girl LOVES a steaming hot shower. Suddenly I heard the door open and then close again. "Hello?" I called out. Before I could wipe my eyes and open the curtain, Sage stepped inside the shower.s

"Hey ba-" I started but was quickly cut off when he wrapped his hand around my throat, and shoved me into the wall, his other hand pinning my wrists together, and holding my arms above my head.

Fuck.

His lips met mine instantly, before breaking away and kissing down my neck. He picked me up. wrapping my legs around his waist, kissing me again. "Someone will hear," I said. He readjusted me in just the right position he wanted me in, looking into my eyes. "Then you better be quiet."

-

I finished getting dressed and brushing my teeth, giving Sage a quick kiss, before slightly opening the door, and sliding out. I looked at my feet, smiling to myself. I could definitely get used to this everyday back home. I was broken  from my thoughts when I heard someone clear their throat.

Oh shit.

I looked up, quickly closing the door to see my mom. She crossed her arms over her chest, shaking her head in disapproval. "What?" I finally snapped, annoyed by her stance. "I expected better from you, but you're just whoring around with your brother best friend," She judged. I shot her a glare, "Excuse me?" "You heard me. I raised you better than this, you have continuously disappointed me, Peyton. Now, this? How do you think this is going to make your poor brother feel?"

I couldn't help but roll my eyes, anger, hurt, and annoyance all fueling me. "If I'm such a disappointment, then be disappointed, I don't give a shit what you think of me anymore. Declan is the god given, perfect child you always wanted, not me! I don't care how Declan feels about this, because it's my life not his or yours and I am so sick of both of you trying to control me and my life!!!" I screamed. "You're right, your brother is the perfect child, he's not screwing up his life by whoring around and getting knocked up!" She screamed back.

"Declan knows we're together! and I'm not whoring around, mom! I'm in love, you know, the kinda love that drive you crazy!!! Oh wait, you wouldn't know because you ruined your love life by treating dad like shit." "Shut up, you do not talk to me like that," She scolded, and I rolled my eyes. "You're just a little shit who acts entitled to everything, you're the reason me and your father split up!"

What.

My face fell straight. What did she just say?

Before I could say anything else, I looked around to see Declan and Zoey in the hall behind us, Sage in the doorway behind me. Guess they made it to the shit show.

"I want you out of this house by tonight, I will continue paying for your room on campus, but I do not want any contact with you, and you will not come back into this house," My mom said sternly, staring blankly at me. "You won't have to, I'm moving in with Sage, and I don't want to come back anyways." I stated, tears filling my eyes. She nodded, "So be it, have fun raising a child on your own, after you get knocked up," She said. I shook my head, past her, going to my room to gather my things.

Tears fell from my eyes, as I quickly threw everything together. "Peyton," I heard my brothers voice. "What?" I shot, continuing to pack. "She didn't-" I stood straight, shooting him a glare, cutting him off. "If you're going to defend her, save it." He nodded, slowly walking out of the room, but his presence was replaced by Sage walking in. "Babygirl," He started, closing the door behind him. Tears continued to fall, leaving wet marks on my suitcase below, as I kept gathering my things. "I just need to get my stuff," I sniffled, but he grabbed my arm, turning me to look at him. I instantly buried my face into his chest, letting it all out. My body shaking as the tears fell.

I am so tired of letting my mom break my heart.

I'm so stupid. I knew we could never have a good relationship.

"I want to go home," I sniffled, looking up at him. He nodded, wiping the tears off my cheeks, holding my face in his hands. He leaned down planting a kiss on my forehead.

"Let's go home baby."
