Chapter Thirty
We were laying in bed, my head on his chest, tracing the tattoos on his arm. It was currently 8am and no one was going to be awake until around 10, so we were just relaxing. At least it was relaxed, until Sage started talking.
"So about my dad and the whole apartment thing," He said and I immediately stopped moving. "It's my last year, after this, I don't know what I'm going to do. So, I think I'm going to take him up on his offer." I looked up at him, "Offer?" He swallowed hard, "I move out, finish school, and he has me a job set up at his friends garage." "Doing what?" He ran his fingers through my hair. "Head mechanic."
I nodded, looking away. I didn't like the idea of this being his last year, because if we're together, then what? I'll be a sophomore, his dad will get him into his career with all his connections, and he won't be around anymore. "When are you moving?" I asked. "As soon as we get back."
He nudged me to look up at him, so I did. His eyes met mine, and a small smile played on his lips. "I want you to move in with me." My expression quickly changed. My eyes as wide as possible, my jaw tense. "You-you what?" I stuttered. He let out a little laugh. "Only if you want to, but I just wanted you to know, this is me proving I'm all in for you, P." I felt like a couldn't breathe, my chest heavy.
This is it. This is where I answer.
This is my chance to change everything.
I bit my bottom lip, before raising my head and kissing him. I broke the kiss, resting my forehead onto his. "Okay." He furrowed his brows, "Okay?"
"I'll move in with you."

We were currently getting ready to eat, greeting my family members as the walked into the house, sitting down and conversating amongst themselves. I walked over, sitting on the couch alone, bummed.
I just want to see Josie.
I watched as Sage stood with D, surrounded by my family. He was laughing and I couldn't help but smile at him. He's just so cute and adorable, and I'm about to wake up and see that cute face of his everyday.
Shit, that's actually kinda scary.
He noticed I was looking at him and he raised his brows, taking a sip of his apple cider, before shooting me a wink. I rolled my eyes, smiling still.
He's such a flirt all the time.
I love it.
I was suddenly pinned to the couch, when someone jumped on top of me, sitting in my lap. "What's up bitchh!!!" I heard and quickly realized it was Josie. Her black hair, long and straight, her skin still pale, eyes blue. She was always beautiful, and the older we get the more I realize just how gorgeous she really is. I quickly hugged her, "I have missed you!"
She plopped down on the couch beside me, scanning the room. "I hate this," She said and we both laughed. I was about to say something when she interrupted. "But I definitely don't hate the new sexy ass eye candy," She said. My face fell straight, as I seen her looking at Sage, but before I could say anything she had already got up and started walking towards them.
She hugged our aunt Jane, then Declan, our uncle Ty, and then she turned to Sage, flashing him her award-winning smile, extending her hand. "Hey handsome, I'm Josie," I heard. Sage shook her hand, "Sage." "Nice to meet you." I watched his eyes scan over her body and I couldn't help the jealousy and anger that boiled in my veins. She's so much prettier than me, and I know he can see that too.
Enough. I'm a bad bitch too.
I got up, walking over to join their circle, and he immediately looked at me. He knew why I walked over and it just made me even madder. "So Peyton, how are you liking UF? Making any friends over there?" My uncle asked. I smirked devilishly, looking at him and the at Sage. "Something like that." He let out a little laugh, quickly shaking his head, looking at his shoes. I looked to see Josie making a weird look at the both of us.
Yeah girl, love you and all, but paws off.
"It's pretty great, I'm learning so many new things," I said, pushing it even further and for the very first time, when Sage raised his head, his cheeks were slightly pink, and he was smirking.
I did that. I just made him blush.
"Anyways," Declan said, getting annoyed at us. "Let me go introduce you to my girlfriend."
He walked off, leaving me, Sage, and Josie standing there. No one else in the living room, because everyone was outside or waiting in the kitchen. "I'm gonna go see if they need help setting the table," I said, and when I walked by, I let my hand drag across Sage's chest. I could hear him clear his throat as I walked away, and I could feel Josie's gaze.
Mission complete.
