Chapter Thirty-Five

I was in the bedroom, changing into my clothes, when I heard a soft knock. I quickly put on my shirt, opening my door to see Zoey. "Hey," She smiled. "Hey," I smiled back, letting her in the room. "Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded. "I'm okay." She gave me a quick hug. "This place is beautiful," She complimented. "I know right? It's crazy." I shook my head, in awe. "Are you happy? Is this what you wanted?" She pushed and I nodded. "It's more." She smiled at me, "You love him don't you?" I could feel my cheeks get red. "I have to tell you something."

-

I was talking among Zoey and some other girls, taking some shots, when suddenly, I heard "Get Low" by Lil Jon start playing.  "OOOOHHHHH yeah!" I cheered, starting to dance. Zoey started dancing with me and singing obnoxiously,

To the windowwwww

To the walll!!!

Til the sweat drop down my balls

til all you bitches crawl

I looked around the room, to see Sage and Declan watching us from across the room, laughing at us and shaking their heads. I smiled, motioning for them to come join. They look at each other, shrugging, and made their way over to us. We started dancing and shouting out the lyrics.

-

I was sitting on the porch outside, listening to the waves crash, the sun was about to rise, and I hadn't fell asleep yet. Zoey and Declan asleep inside, along with a few others who got a little too drunk last night. I sipped on mu cup of coffee, waiting for the sky to turn colors as the sun got closer and closer to rising.

The sliding door opened and closed and out walked Sage, a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. "Morning walk on the beach?" He asked and I nodded, putting my coffee on the table, walking over to him, and we started to the beach. We walked along the shoreline when I jumped onto his back and he carried me as he walked. Once the sun started to rise, he put me down, wrapping the blanket around my shoulders, and his arms around my waist, resting his chin on top of my head.

We watched as the sky turned orange, the scenery every bit of perfect. I turned around, to look at him, his arms still around me. The sunrise illuminating his tall silhouette. He looked straight outta a movie scene.

Ugh, the aesthetic.

I stood on my tip toes, reaching for a kiss, which he gladly accepted. I smiled, looking into his eyes, like it was my first time seeing them.

"I love you," I bit my bottom lip, nervous to say it again.

He looked out at the sky again, before looking back at me, smiling.

"I love you too, P."
