Chapter Twenty

"I dare you."

Is he serious? He's the only person who's ever really kissed me and now he wants me to make the first move?

Yeah, no thanks.

"Yeah, whatever," I played off. He reached over, his hand on my cheek, forcing me to keep eye contact. "Here's your lesson for today," he started and I immediately got nervous. "Making the first move and being confident is sexy." I nodded, understanding. "So, you want me to just," I stuttered. "K-kiss you?" He nodded.

I swallowed hard before leaving in and quickly giving his lips a peck, pulling back.

There, I did it. Even if it did suck. I know it's not what he wanted.

"Slower," he instructed. I took a deep breath, both of us on our sides, facing each other. I leaned in, flashing my eyes between his eyes and lips, before planting my lips on his and closing my eyes. Our lips moved in sync and I melted. He let me have control so I took advantage of.

Oh my god, I want to try it.

I slowly sucked on his bottom lip just enough to lightly bite it. He let out a moan, pulling me on top of him.

Guess I did it right.

His hands grabbed onto my thighs, holding me down, he leaned up taking even more control.

Yep, waterfall.

He suddenly reached up, grabbing the back of my neck, tangling his fingers in my hair, slightly pulling my head back before kissing my neck.

Take back control, be confident Peyton.

I out my hands on his chest, pushing his back down on the bed, a devilish smirk on his face. I've made him proud. I took off my shirt, exposing my bare chest, before leaving down and kissing his neck, down his chest, and torso, stopping at the line of his jeans. I was unsure of what to do next so I looked at him.

"I want to learn," I whispered. "Are you sure?" I nodded. He looked into my eyes, "start however you want and I'll tell you what feels good." I slowly unbuttoned his pants pulling them and his boxers down. My hands shaking. Don't mess this up Peyton.

I slowly moved my head down, still looking into his eyes. "P," he moaned, tangling his fingers in my hair. His head fell back and then he whispered, "no instructions needed. That feels great."

I blinked open my eyes to find the room dark. I was laying bare chested on Sage and he was sound asleep.

Shit, what time is it? I reached under the pillow to look at my phone. 11:37pm. I put my phone back under the pillow, careful to not jar Sages head. I looked at him, his hair messy, lips slightly parted. He looks- peaceful.

"It's creepy to stare at someone sleeping," he mumbled, pulling me closer to him. "I wasn't staring, I was admiring," I laughed, hiding my face in the crook of his neck.

I could stay here.

"I should go," he groaned, letting out a yawn.

He's right, he should... but I don't want him to.

I raised my head to look at him, "or you could stay."
He didn't dare move a muscle, his thoughts eating away at his mind.

Why would I say that. Stupid.

"If I stay-" he paused, "bad things will happen." He finally looked back at me, his hand rubbing my back. "Like what?" I questioned.

"I'll start to want you." He swallowed hard. "Even more than I already do."
