Chapter fifteen.

Me: We need to talk.

Sage: I'm sorry about the hickey :(

Me: Don't be. I'm sure there will be more....

Sage: more? ;) I thought you hated me?

Me: Oh, I do... but I can learn from you

Sage: What do you want to learn, P?

Me: Everything. On one condition....

Sage: That is?.....

Me: No feelings. No strings. Nothing.

Sage: As you wish. You say when.

Me: whenever any opportunity presents itself ;)
But no one can know.

Sage: our little secret babygirl. Pinky promise.

I laid my phone on my chest, letting out some very heavy, nervous breaths. "You did it, now just let him have control," Zoey encouraged, as she picked us both out an outfit to go to the warehouse party tonight. "I'm scared," I admitted and she looked over at me. "Nothing to be scared of, if you get uncomfortable all you have to do is tell him to stop or not to do it." I nodded, knowing she's right.

"Here," she said tossing my clothes over to me.
A Forrest green crop top, ripped jeans, and my white chuck Taylor's. Good choice. Simple. "Get dressed and I'll curl your hair."

We were all scattered around the warehouse, Zoey and me were sitting on the couch drinking our vodka and Red Bull, the boys across from us standing up, playing some stupid game. My eyes were set on Sage, his tall and dark silhouette, his messy hair. The tattoos on his skin reflecting from the multi-colored lights. He looks hot. "You should do something tonight," Zoey said, taking another sip of her drink after noticing my attention on him. She's right.

Before I could respond I watched as a black haired girl, walked up to Sage, giving him a kiss on the cheek, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "You got to show him you really want this, but you don't want strings, so he's allowed to do whatever he wants," Zoey reminded me. She's right. I have to prove I'm serious and I have to not be jealous.

The group walked over to us, sitting around in a circle. The girl sat down beside of Zoey, while I was on her other side. The boys across us in the chairs. "Let's smoke one," Declan said, nudging Max's arm. He pulled out a blunt and I sat still. I have NEVER. I didn't even know Declan had! wtf.

They lit the blunt and begin passing it in the circle, until it was my turn. "I've never smoked," I admitted, leaning back, letting them pass it to Zoey who took a hit, coughing afterwards. "Your loss," Declan shrugged. "I need another drink," he said before walking away, breaking the circle. When he left, the girl passed the blunt to Sage. My eyes met his, as he inhaled his first puff... not breaking eye contact as he blew out the smoke. He stood up, walking over, squeezing his way in between me and Zoey on the couch, and everyone gave him weird looks.

What is he doing?

"When I blow the smoke out, I want you to inhale it," he instructed.

What the hell does that mean?

"Like this," I heard. He handed the blunt to Max. Max inhaled a puff before grabbing Maya and leaning in close to her, blowing out the smoke as she inhaled it through her parted lips until it was gone.

Oh, shit.

Max handed the blunt back to Sage. His eyes darkened as he stared into mine, slowing sucking in. My heart pounding. He leaned in close to me, slowly releasing the smoke as I parted my lips and began to take it all in. Once the smoke was gone, he smirked at me.

I could feel the tension in the air.

He pulled away and passed the blunt back to Zoey again.

Holy shit.

-

"Wow," Zoey said as we walked over to the cooler. "I know," I said still in awe of what had happened. That was so damn sexy. "It doesn't matter though, he's occupied tonight," I shook my head. He was currently making out with that girl over on the couch.

"If you want something, take it." She stated, grabbing the bottle of vodka, pouring some into her cup.

Maybe she's right.

I have to show just how willing to learn I am.
