Chapter Seventeen.

I blinked open my eyes to see a blank wall. Sage was spooning me, his muscular arms wrapped around me. I was wearing his hoodie, no pants, and I was a mess.

Last night was... fun, exciting, ugh. It was a lot.
What If it's super awkward when he wakes up, what if he didn't like it..

Stop, you're overthinking Peyton.

But you do need to wake up and get ready for class and get him out of here before anyone sees.

I was just about to try to maneuver out of his arms, when the door swung wide open. "Good morning sunshine I brought coffee!" My eyes widened when Zoey walked through the door.

Shit.

Sage woke up when I quickly got out of the bed. "He needs to get out of here," Zoey yelled! "I know, I'm sorry-" she cut me off, "Declan is bringing up breakfast! He needs to go now!" She exclaimed.

Oh no. Yep, he's gotta go.

Sage quickly got out of the bed, looking for his shoes and putting them on. "Where's my shirt?" He scattered around the room. "Just go, I'll find it later!" I yelled. He nodded and darted out of the room.

Shew. That would've been bad.

"Um, Peyton," Zoey said. "What?" I furrowed my brows. "You aren't wearing pants." I looked down to see my bare legs.

Shit shit shit. I quickly found my shorts on the floor and put them on.  "What the hell happened last night?" Zoey asked. Before I could answer her, D walked in laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked as he walked in.  "I just seen Sage running out without a shirt on.. he must've had a fun night," He explained. Me and Zoey side eyed each other before letting out a nervous laugh.

"So what happened?" Zoey asked as we walked outside, headed to the library. I explained everything. Even to the last littlest detail.

Which honestly might've been a little gross, now that I'm done talking about it. Oh well.

"Oh my god," her jaw dropped. "Well, did you like it?" She pushed. I could feel my cheeks go red. "I mean, yes," I blushed. "Anddd are you gonna do it again? Or more?" She pushed even further. I didn't have answer to that. Honestly if it wasn't for the slight amount of pot and liquid courage in my system last night I probably wouldn't have even texted him, much less let that happen.

Who knows what happens next.

"I don't know," I shook my head. She rolled her eyes, "I think you should keep going, just as long as you don't confuse your feelings." I agreed. However, I still don't have feelings for him, I'm simply using him.

Shitty of me, but oh well. I guess I've just turned out to be no better of a person than I originally judged him to be.

We were sitting at the table, stuffing our hearts away, when both of our phones went off at the same time.

Group chat-Max: Another movie night at the warehouse! Tonight's genre is romance, girls pick! Let us know by 6 so we can have it set up!

I locked eyes with Zoey and we both had the same idea.

The Notebook. A classic romance.

This is going to be so much fun.
