After Katarina had lunch in the afternoon, she automatically went back to work, checking the emails on her office desk. After, she received a call from her lady boss and made several copies of it to be submitted to her. Deciding to deliver it to her Lady Boss prior to said time so she could work on several tasks that needed to be done, and to the next task that was supposed to be done, Katarina had an entire day. Upon knocking gently and opening the door, she immediately saw Ofelia staring at her monitor screen with several tabs opened.

"Miss, this is our copy; I received it this afternoon," Katarina said, walking closely to her desk and placing the papers. Ofelia noticed something on her skin when sleeves tugged lightly up on her arms.

"Wait, what is that?" She asked, pointing her arm, and she eventually held it and took a look at it.

"Uh, no, it's nothing," she denied.

"Let me see," Ofelia said, showing concern.

"It's just the kids; it's kind of rough; sometimes they're growing big now," Katarina was trying to mask what's going on.

"Katarina, don't make fool of me. I may not even have kids, but I know what bruises and spots on the skin are and that it's not caused by a child," Ofelia directly said flat on her face.

Katarina looked at the door. Ofelia stood up and slowly walked to the door and locked it. Ofelia stood there elegantly, folding her arms across her chest and raising her brows in front of her.

"As your boss, I don't want my employees to lie in front of my face because whatever is going on with their personal lives, of course, it'll have an effect on their job; that is my main concern." Ofelia didn't even flinch.

"So, let's tone down a little; let's talk as a woman and as a friend, here shall we?" Ofelia released her arms and went back to her office chair. Crossing her leg as she sat down, she clasped both hands, looking to Katarina.

"Have a seat," she commanded. Katarina took the chair and took her seat, eye leveling to her.

"Now tugged your sleeves, please," she asked once more. Katarina tugged her sleeves up to high, showing Ofelia her skin.

"Do you take images on it?" Ofelia said calmly. Katarina showed images on her phone as evidence of what she has been through.

"How many months is he doing this to you?" Another question to Katarina trying to gather strength in her situation. Katarina gave her phone, and Ofelia starts seeing the images.

"Is this true?" Ofelia asked, looking at her in disbelief of several images.

"Oh, fresh wounds, but already healed." A proof that her husband is raising hands on her.

"Yes, Miss, it's all true, Katarina replied, looking away and biting her lip.

"And after several months that I started working here, here he seemed like jealous, but before that I caught him cheating not once but before I had a job here at the gallery," Katarina confesses.

"Do you want me to provide a divorce lawyer?" Ofelia continued maintaining her posture, but she didn't flinch, giving the aura of strength, showing her the embodiment of fierceness as she always does.

"I wanted to leave him but can't afford to; it's a tough situation," Katarina said, hopeless on her side.

"Well, say no more. I'll arrange it for you. Hold on, let's have some medical checkups to add those proofs of evidence," Ofelia added before Katarina said any towards her boss.

Katarina saw she took her phone and dialed a number. Immediately the other line picks up, and Katarina overhears it since the room is so quiet between them.

"Octavia," Ofelia mentioning her name Katarina, made me instantly curious.

"Hi Ofelia, my stunning Lady Boss, what a very pleasant surprise," Octavia teases on the other line.

"I have a client for you," Ofelia said assertively.

"Okay, sure, anytime Ofelia, you're always welcome in my office." A calm voice over the line is loud enough for Katarina to be heard.

"Send me a message, and we will have a talk," Ofelia said.

"No, I guess it's time to make a visit with you," Octavia insists. "Okay, thank you." The other line was cut afterwards.

"Octavia owns a law firm, Katarina." Ofelia places the phone away.

"If you asked me if she's a Ferguson, pretty yes she is." Ofelia stood up and walked towards the door, unlocking it.

"I'll make schedules for you; I'll help you with this. You make an excellent job in here; just think of this as a return favor. Never had an employee just like you," Ofelia acknowledged Katarina for her work and contribution to the gallery.

"Can I hug you?" Ofelia asked.

"Sure," Katarina replied, hugging her back.

"I'll arrange what you needed for you to start somewhere away from your husband, and you don't need to think about the lawyer; it's on me; I'll take care of it. All you need to do is keep this issue away from my sister Olivine until we manage to solve this way too personal, and it needs to be addressed properly," Ofelia being assertive to her.

"Oh god, thank you so much, Miss," Katarina cracked her voice in front of her.

"We all do have a second chance in life; take it wisely." Ofelia rubbed her back and patted gently.
