It's seven in the evening; Olivine has carried it to Otara's place. She doesn't want to come home when she was asked. Her best friend has no choice but to bring her to her place in the evening.
"You're too drunk, Olivine," Otara said in anticipation, closing doors at her condo and assisting in placing her in her bed for her to rest.
"I'm not," she replied.
"I can't choose between them..." she murmured, overlooking the situation, staring at the ceiling, panting.
"What did you say? Otara stepped in closely.
"I...I can't choose," she repeated, looking at her.
"Then don't choose," Otara replied, not thinking of even considering the idea of it.
"Why, Oliv, did they ask you to choose?" Otara pulled her shoes.
"Wait, your phone vibrates," she noticed, checking it.
"Is it Katarina?"
"No," she sighed, showing the screens on her.
"Then who is it?"
"Your ex-wife," she replied bluntly, like she tasted something sour in her mouth.
"Ugh," Olivine rolled her eyes, continuing to chase her breath.
"Whatever." Otara pressed the button, rolling her eyes, copying her best friend. Stepping outside from the room.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Uh? Hello?"
"Your voice is not Katarina; who are you?" Otara pretends.
"It's me, Maddison," patiently waited.
"Where is she?" She asked.
"She's here in my place," Otara replied. They both know who they're referring to, and they're all concerned for her.
"Uhm," she paused, being obviously hesitant.
"Can I see her?" she asked.
"No, she's way too drunk," Otara insisted, pissed.
"Oh," her voice doesn't have any idea of what's going on.
"Can I see her please? Tara..." she asked, wondering how she came drunk.
"Okay, I'll send the location," she agreed, aside for the sake of her best friend; she wanted to see Maddison for the longest time.
"Thank you so much," said the one on the other line.
"Who is that? "Olivine opened her eyes and asked after she heard closing doors.
"Your ex-wife," she replied.
"Hmmm...what is it now?" Olivine looked at her.
"Why can't we just have them both?" Otara said, but her face is becoming the opposite, suggesting the idea of it.
"Woah!" She rose from the soft bed.
