A slow opening of Katarina's eyes, making her feel the entire of her senses slowly gaining her full conscious awareness.
Despite what she has been through, all the pain and the trauma on her body endured. Katarina instantly felt all over her body. But she felt comfort a warm hand holding around her hand, which she quickly noticed.
Immediately gaining her attention to the side and trying to lift her hand, she felt the heaviness around it and couldn't be moved or slightly lifted; she knew someone's holding her hand.
Little by little, she felt happy, knowing the person she cared resting while gently looking on her side. Seeing Olivine leaning forward in the hospital bedside peacefully sleeping, she looks like she's so exhausted; she can tell on her face.
Katarina enjoys watching her that way; she's sleeping very calmly and at peace. She didn't have any chance to see her vulnerable side. Other times her eyes always wander, but other times the ways she looks at her seemed like she's looking directly at her soul.
"Never seen a gentlewoman like you, Oliv," Katarina mesmerized at her. Even wiped the small amount of tears on her eyes watching her in that vulnerable state.
"O...Oliv..." Katarina softly calls her name. She even lifted her hand and placed it gently on Olivine's head. Still in her position, leaning forward on her bedside, sleeping, she seemed in deep sleep.
"Oliv..." She calls her again softly, caressing her head on her left hand softly. Tracing her ears and watching her wait.
As soon as Olivine opened her eyes, she lifted her head quickly. After she felt a hand touch on her head, tracing her ears and looking at Katarina while she's looking at her.
"Oh god!! Your awake..." Olivine stood up. She looks in and is surprised; she's finally awake after almost a days of her waiting.
Olivine even looked around to see if one of Katarina's family members was around, but none of them she couldn't find. Slowly hugging Katarina's head, wrapping her arms around her.
"My kids..." she asked, whispering and at the same time tapping her arms.
Which leads Olivine to curled in pain, following a blood showing on her sleeves from the inside.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry. You shouldn't see that." Olivine hid her arms in front of her; might she get scared seeing blood? Even though she was also surprised, she didn't expect her wounds to bleed.
"Uh...Oh...yes, your kids, Felicia, are taking care of them," Olivine said, taking back a proper seat and hiding it away, but Katarina's face changed its demeanor looking at her.
"Uh..okay," Olivine paused and took a deep breath that sounded surrendering, not looking at Katarina.
"I'll show you," she said bravely enough, one by one unbuttoning her long sleeves in front of her. A sports bra reveals itself in front of her, which Katarina sees in the past.
Moments later, she saw the wounds; some are healed, some are still in plasters on her arms.
"I remember Aiden stabbed me out of nowhere," Katarina remembers.
"Did he attack you too!?" she said, covering her mouth.
Witnessing Katarina, she came so pissed and angry on her face but too weak to move any further.
Olivine, seeing her hand, formed a first. She put her sleeves on quickly and stepped forward, hugging Katarina, placing her head on her chest, comforting her, and telling her not to worry. She didn't want her to be in distress and was also afraid of losing her again.
"It's all good, Katarina. It's all good," said things to make her calm until she realized she had pulled away herself of embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry..." she lowered her head, turning her back and buttoning back her long sleeves.
"Did he attack you as well after he stabbed me?" The voice of Katarina was so eager to know.
"Tell me, Oliv," she added. Olivine doesn't want her to be stressed out, but Katarina started acting out.
"Can I hold your hand?" Olivine calmed herself, trying to divert the situation.
Asking her hand and waiting for her response instead, Katarina slowly took Olivine's hand, holding it, and looked at her, not saying anything.
"Uh...what happened is you've been rushed to the hospital after you've been stabbed by him," Olivine said. Her jaw line showed Katarina instantly noticed it.
"And... Uh—"" Olivine starts to stuttered, she noticed Olivine starts shaking her hand in nervous.
Katarina paused closing her eyes, and didn't talk anymore. Allowing her to rest, Olivine silently sat back on the bedside. Watching Katarina leaning back to bed and slowly closing her eyes.
