Hi, good morning. Welcome to Ferguson's Collector's Gallery and Jewelry Shop. How may I help you?
Olivine is bombarded with the enthusiasm of Katarina too early in the morning.
"Ma'am, may I?" she said, accommodating the sister of her boss she didn't know, which included getting her coat.
Olivine was about to head to her office, but she was stopped by the new manager, confused looking at Katarina.
"Ma'am, I'm so sorry, staff only and authorized person to get inside. If you like, you come follow me; I gave you some tour if you are looking for particular jewelry this way and if a collector's item this way." She explains, still her delightful smile never leaves her face.
"And here's our catalog; if you like to check the items, all the details are in there," she said, looking into Olivine's emotionless face while she complied.
Olivine stared at her silently, no complaints except the part giving Katarina a quizzical look. While holding the catalog in her left dominant hand. She had no idea who's this woman. While Katarina is waiting, Olivine finally decides to point her head towards the jewelry section. She decided to play along until she discovered how she was supposed to handle this awkward situation.
"Yes, best choice; come follow me, please; we have a few staff to assist you with the measures if you're looking for a ring," Katarina sweetly smiled.
God, are you kidding me? I am not done grieving... Now I am looking for a ring. Is this a joke? Do I look like searching for a ring? Who is this woman, Ofelia?
Olivine slid her other hand into her trouser's pocket while they were walking. Back of Olivines heads were screaming, heading to the jewelry glass counters. Which are made of glasses and are highlighted by small lights to enhance the beauty of those jewelry. Sophistically placed on top of their designated, customized little boxes with name tags along. Some item prices were hidden for those newly arrived. Olivine is given a catalog, and Katarina starts explaining those jewelry collections.
Few minutes pass, and a deep sigh from Olivine's part when she's finished. She decided to roam around and placed the catalog on the front glass counter. Other staff only smirked after Olivine shrugged. Olivine went outside at the Collector's Gallery after Katarina finished discussing the information about those items. Instead of stopping herself to go inside her office, she decided to go outside.
Olivine managed to go to the coffee shops across the streets. Finding herself a vacant table, she immediately sat, crossing her legs, sitting under one of the umbrellas provided for the customers in their establishment.
"Hello, Miss Olivine," a male staff member noticed her.
"Hello Jeffrey," she replied, tilting her head.
"I am surprised you stopped by; it's been a while," he said. Olivine smiles.
"And I am also deeply sorry for the loss." He looked down.
"Thank you, Jeffrey."
"So what you decided to come and stay, I've only noticing you picking some cup of coffee and doughnuts or cupcakes or a croissant to a pair of our premium coffee every six in the morning. What changes, ma'am?" he said curiously while his brows furrowed, confused.
"I cannot get into my office," Olivine said calmly. Deep inside, she is slightly irritated by the situation earlier.
"Oh, that's new, why?" he glanced across the gallery.
"Ah... let me guess, trouble with a new staff?" he chuckled. He looked across the streets again.
"My great sister Ofelia hired a new staff without consulting me. Or even giving a heads-up, and the best part is she didn't say that I am her sister who works in their." Olivine shook his head, explaining and smiling, looking across the streets.
