Maddison is sitting in the same chair, arms folded, crossed legs. Observing Katarina, how she took care of her. Both are calm showing respect to one another. Not doing any aggressive or inappropriate behavior across the room.Gladly none is dead yet, since everyone arrive at the place.
"I thought you already left..." Katarina looked at her, opening a conversation.
"No, I didn't... I just had a few words with Tara," she said.
"We have a long history back then; we need a few words to catch up." Maddison sounded like Otara is still not in favor of her. Her disposition in life made her question.
"She's the one who left; she booked a hotel nearby just for the night," Maddison said, glancing away.
"The room is too crowded, and it overwhelmed her," she added, still not giving a flinch on her seat.
"Can I move my chair closer?" Maddison asked permission.
"Sure..." Katarina said with a smile and enthusiasm.
"Thank you..." she said, pulling the chair closer, and sat again, making herself comfortable watching them.
"I was worried when Otara said she's drunk. That part, I started thinking back there, she can't be that drunk," Katarina continues.
"She got a one-on-one drinking with my late husband long ago in a bar," Katarina recalls, and she stopped herself, knowing what happened that night.
"Yes, I am also aware she can't be drunk that easily. All I know is she doesn't get bogged down only by those bottles of alcohol, they're surrendering and crawling on the floors of emptiness," Maddison added.
"But this time, she achieved it by using these." She showed the tablets and tossed them back where she picked them. Showing she's pissed with those tiny tablets.
"She took those to knock herself down..." Katarina looked at the nightstand.
"Now, I started worrying she might do something not nice or, worse, she may take her own life overdosing herself; not Otara is there for her most of the time." Katarina is thinking at what would be the worst to come.
"Knowing Oliv, for just a brief time, she doesn't say anything; she just stays quiet most of the time, and I know a few people like that. Who holds deep inside and doesn't say anything ends up not being good," Katarina continues, holding her hand and wiping her neck using a damp towel.
"I see her pain, but I didn't see the monster in her," Katarina said, caressing her forehead.
"Even if she didn't talk, the silence speaks volumes. Every time I caught her staring blankly into the abyss," she described how lost Olivine was once before.
"I couldn't agree more, but in the past she didn't do anything stupid. Except drinking and being wasted, yes, she's always silent and quite observant and listening," Maddison shared a little about what they have in the past.
"She's an artist; even she hid her ability and skills. I guess she processes her emotions through her work piece," Maddison added.
"All I know is her sister Ofelia can only handle her like it's nothing," Katarina replied, having a smile on her lips recalling how Ofelia hisses at her.
"Only Ferguson can handle a Ferguson; that's their nature since I've known them." Maddison looked at her.
"Ofelia is my best friend, and I see how she handles every young cousin of theirs, but differently from her, needing extra attention on her; maybe that's a sibling bond." Maddison looked at Olivine.
"Katarina...all I know is it's personal, but how come you're not angry I'm being here?" Maddison asked and paused, not even blinking, saying those words straightforwardly.
