Skye groaned as her body clock and alarm clock once again woke her up at 5:00 AM, she smacked her phone screen to try and stop the alarms constant beeping before she sat up and turned it off, when she saw a text message from Miles, her contact in The Rising Tide, Skye sighed and turned her phone off and placed it face down on the ledge of her window.

She sighed and got dressed before she grabbed her phone again seeing several messages from Miles, she once again ignored them and pressed the button that opened her door and ran straight into Grant Ward's back.

Grant was talking to Coulson outside Skye's bunk and heard her alarm going off when it suddenly stopped, he kept talking to Coulson paying not attention to Skye's bunk, he didn't hear her door slide open but suddenly felt her walk straight into his back.

"Sorry," Skye said before walking off to go find food, Coulson then left and Grant followed Skye. "You better pray Coulson doesn't ask why you're alarm went off." Grant spoke glancing up at the deactivated cameras.

"Why?" Skye asked sliding into a seat and leaning against the table, gesturing to Grant to sit down in the seat across from her, he does so and places down the Battle ship game sets he's got, placing one in front of Skye.

"Everyone thinks you're not a morning person, I thought you wanted to keep it that way." Grant comments as he and Skye set their games up. "Relax it was just this once, now are we gonna play or not, also cameras have reactivated...now." Skye informed the man across from her.

The two returned to their cover as Agent Ward and his rookie. "Every decision you make from here on out have consequences. So be warned..." Grant's got a very serious look on his face. "The kiddie gloves are off."

"G7." Skye speaks up, Grant closes his eyes, disappointed. "Hit."

Skye celebrates her victory. "Yes! Ha!" as she sits cross legged on her chair. "So, explain to me again what this has to do with my training." she said as she grabbed a pretzel.

"It's important for every S.O. to evaluate their student's thought process." Grant said, Skye gives him a look like she doesn't believe it for a moment. "Mm-Hmm." she said thoughtfully as Grant leans back against his chair.

"And I like board games," he adds before leaning forward taking his own turn. "B-10."

"Nope," Skye leaned forward in her own chair. "This isn't thinking, this is stabbing in the dark. But, it's nice to take a break from the workouts." Skye comments as she grabs another pretzel.

"Well, you deserve a break." Grant replied.

Skye gives him a surprised look.

"I got to give Coulson credit. I would never have pegged an ex-Rising Tide hacker as a good fit, but you're picking things up pretty fast."

Skye gives him a pleased smile. "Did you just give me a compliment?" Skye asked.

"I...no, I made a comment."

"A kind one." Skye reminds him.

Grant just shrugs, his cover was slipping slightly, Skye had managed to break through his SHIELD agent persona within a couple of weeks, he should've known that she'd manage that.

"Did it physically hurt to do that?" Skye asked, she leans forward with a worried look. "Do you need an icepack?"

Skye keeps her gaze on Grant's face, a smile broke out as he laughed, as did she. "Wow! A compliment and a smile!" Skye exclaimed.
