Austria, 1945

A man, Reinhart turns, he's using a red cloth to clean his eyeglasses. He holds them up to the light checking them as there is movement all around that he doesn't seem to care much about. He walks down a road or alleyway, he can see some soldiers, dressed like him, going in and out of a building. He can also see a lot of dead soldiers on the ground not dressed like him, they look like American or European forces. The man puts on his glasses and speaks to someone in German. Another solider turns around and stands at attention in front of Reinhart.

"I don't think I need to remind you that the clock is ticking." Reinhart spoke.

Another soldier lift a crate a short distance away.

"We are almost finished loading. Herr Reinhardt, I – I fear Schmidt –" the Soldier in front of Reinhart trailed off.

"Oh, there's no reason left to fear the Red Skull. He's dead. However, his vision is not. The work HYDRA has done will live on. The Obelisk?" Reinhart questioned.

"They are bringing it out now." The Other Soldier said.

"Carefully, I hope." Reinhart comments.

The Other Soldier looks at Reinhardt for a moment then back at the doorway. After a moment one of the black leather soldiers exit. He's holding what looks like a wooden tray with a weird shaped piece of metal sitting on top of it. He walks to Reinhardt with it, he takes it out of the soldiers hand, holding it by the wood, and looks down at it. "I don't understand. I thought this stockpile held only artifacts." The Other Soldier admits.

"Not everything we dug out of the ground was an antique, my friend. Some of it was quite advanced." Reinhart doesn't look at the Other Soldier, his eyes are riveted to the metal.

"Is this the reason these men...?" The Other Soldier trailed off and looks over his shoulder and he can see a man dead on the ground, he has a strange bluish-gray tinge to his skin – he nearly looks frozen or like he's a pile of ash that still looks like a person.

"Hm? Ja. The Red Skull said it may hold the answer – the answer to death itself." Reinhart said.

Suddenly the air is filled with the sound of gunfire. They can hear a large explosion as Reinhardt turns and sees a man blown off a truck. Large doors surrounding the complex open and people walk into the base. It's the Howling Commandos led by none other than Peggy Carter herself, Dum Dum Dugan and Jim Morita are with her as well. They enter the compound guns pointed at the German soldiers.

"I'll give them an "A" for effort." Dugan comments.

"Guten tag, boys. All right, nice and calm. No sudden moves or we'll tie a blasting cap to your..." Jim  glances over his shoulder to Dugan. We see that all of the soldiers, except for Reinhardt, have their hands in the air. He is still holding on to the piece of wood which holds the metal piece. "Hey, Dugan. What's the German word for "nuts"?" Jim asked.

"I don't know, Jim," Dugan cocks his shotgun nosily. "But, tie a blasting cap to them, I'll bet we'll hear it."

Peggy has kept her eyes and attention trained on Reinhardt. "Put it down," she lifts her gun pointing it at him when he doesn't move. "Down," he slowly starts to lower the wood platter to the ground. "These assets are now under the protection of the Strategic Scientific Reserve. They'll be relocated and hidden out of sight, indefinitely...as will you." Peggy said.

Dugan walks past Peggy, handcuffs in his hands. Reinhardt stands back up and Dugan cuffs him. "Cut off one head, two more shall grow in its place." Reinhart said.
