Gloucestershire, England, 1839

Noblemen seated at a table all stand up, one was given a bag and pulled something out of it before passing it to the other man who did the same and so on so forth until the bag was empty, then all the men showed the objects, which admittedly look like pebbles.

All the pebbles were black except for one mans, Manzini's, his was white.

Later, he's packed a pouch with wine and other items before looking at the men before him, they were all standing in front of him, the man, Thornally who was sitting at the head of the table spoke. "May our gifts see you through the journey."

"Perhaps it w... What if I fail to fail return?" Manzini asked.

"Be brave, my lord." Thornally said as he led Manzini towards the room where the Monolith was being held, Thornally pushes him into the room and two other lords block the door up.

"Will he come back?" another lord asked.

"Our best minds are working to understand this. But as far as we know, in all of history, no one has ever returned." Thornally replied.

Daisy groaned as the sun it her bareback and frowned, remembering that she and Grant had forgotten to close the windows, so she threw Grant's shirt on from the night before and closing the curtains, when she noticed Grant's side of the bed empty. So, Daisy got herself dressed and went off to find Grant.

Daisy didn't find Grant and instead found Kebo, their righthand. "Kebo." Daisy nodded to him, Kebo nodded in return, no more words were exchanged between them and the brunette grabbed her coffee and sat herself monitoring SHIELD backchannels.

When Grant walks in. "So, I found Carmine, he knows exactly where the kid is." he said.

Daisy perked up at that and Grant chucked her the car keys.

Grant's driving Carmine's sports car inside a carpark, at a high speed with Daisy in the passenger seat and Carmine holding onto the bonnet, while other HYDRA operatives, including Kebo were standing with their backs against the poles in the carpark, not even flinching as Grant recklessly drove past them.

"Hell of a machine, Dais," the brunette in question looked over at Grant with a small smile before looking back at the terrified Carmine and her smiled widened. "Built for precision, speed," Grant quickly drives the car past another pillar in the carpark with Carmine trying to hold on for dear life. "Designed to handle flawlessly under any conditions. But Carmine here bought it as a status symbol to show off," Daisy makes a disappointed tutting noise that Carmine can't here because of how loud the car is. "Never opened it up, denied it of its true purpose," Grant once again changes gear and speeds in between two polls. "Old HYDRA's full of guys like him. Soft, entitled, mistaking wealth for success, privilege for power. Their greed splintered HYDRA into a thousand pieces. Their time is over. Time for a leaner generation." Grant glances over at Daisy for a moment before slamming his foot on the breaks, launching Carmine onto the concrete floor, groaning in pain as he tried to get up, Grant and Daisy, with the exact same smirks, step out of the car and walk towards him.

They both noticed the other HYDRA Agents following, with Kebo placing himself on Daisy's right side as she looked down at Carmine and spoke. "These people have proven themselves in blood. See how they didn't even flinch?" Carmine looks up at the brunette woman. "Now's your chance to prove you still have purpose. Show me you're not dead weight," Daisy crouched down onto the floor as Carmine looked between Kebo and Grant who were standing on her left and right sides respectively before he looked at Daisy herself, staring into her cold, brown eyes. "So, tell me, where's the kid?" she asked.
