I tapped my pencil on the desk in front of me as one of my friends, Stephanie, went on and on about how on the first day of school (August nineteenth) she and her boyfriend had gotten together but now exactly two months later, she liked my brother.
Dylan and Sadie thrived in Breck. They were happy and clearly just enjoying their lives. I loved them with all of my heart.
"Yeah, Steph, that's a bummer." How I missed Taylor! She wouldn't have sat around describing MY brother's exact hair color to me for ages.
"Ugh. Riley!" She whined as she twirled her blonde hair around her finger, "You don't understand. If only you had a boyfriend."
"If only you knew." I muttered under my breath. The mention of my boyfriend hurt. I was barely making it by without Logan. I missed him more than I could say.
"Yeah, I guess so."
"Some of these girls have 'supposed' summer guys who they 'seriously miss'. Do you believe it? Why don't they just go see 'em!"
"Money."
"Then just pay your parents back."
I stopped hitting my pencil and my brain raced.
"Yeah, sure. Steph I gotta go, bye!"
I grabbed my bag and ran home.
I grabbed my wallet and pulled out some of the money that was left over from my rental car. I pulled it out and drove myself to the airport. I texted my mom to tell her where I was.I purchased a ticket to Florida.
The plane lifted off and I smiled, I couldn't believe I was doing this!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I hopped put of the bus and ran up to the door. I knocked on it and it was
answered. I stared at him and he smiled. He grabbed me in his arms and I kissed him.
"So... I'm still you're girlfriend?"
He just smirked; "Duh."
