The next morning, Jungkook stood in front of the office building, armed with a mission. Today, it wasn’t just any day—it was tea day! He had spent a ridiculous amount of time picking out the perfect tea leaves and had even watched several tea preparation videos. There was no way Taehyung wouldn’t be impressed!

"Alright, Kook, this is it! The day you make Mr. Cold CEO smile!" Jungkook whispered to himself, clutching the thermos filled with freshly brewed tea. He took a deep breath and walked inside, already planning how to present the tea in the cutest way possible.

---

As soon as Jungkook entered the office, he was greeted by the familiar silence of the workplace. Everyone seemed engrossed in their tasks, and for a brief moment, Jungkook wondered if he was the only one who seemed to bring color into the place.

He tiptoed over to his desk, placed the thermos down, and gave himself a little pep talk. "Okay, just be natural. Super natural. Like, don’t be extra… but also be extra. You can do this."

Jungkook then grabbed the thermos and marched to Taehyung’s office with newfound determination. He knocked lightly on the door.

"Come in," Taehyung’s deep, cold voice responded.

Jungkook slipped inside the office with a grin that was a little too wide. "Good morning, Mr. Kim! I brought you tea! You know, since you told me not to bring coffee anymore." He practically sang the last part, hoping his enthusiasm wasn’t too much.

Taehyung was seated behind his large desk, typing away on his laptop. He barely glanced up, his expression stoic as always. "Just leave it on the desk," he said curtly.

Jungkook’s smile faltered for a second, but he quickly recovered. "Sure thing, boss!" He carefully placed the thermos on Taehyung’s desk, straightening it up as if it were some prized artifact.

He lingered for a moment, waiting for some kind of reaction, but Taehyung didn’t look up from his work. Jungkook’s eyes darted around the office, trying to come up with something to say or do that might spark a tiny bit of warmth from his cold boss.

And then it hit him—a bold, brilliant, and utterly ridiculous idea.

"Mr. Kim," Jungkook started, his voice soft and innocent, "I was wondering... do you prefer your tea hot or… warm?"

Taehyung paused, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. He looked up, narrowing his eyes. "Hot. Why?"

Jungkook leaned forward slightly, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "Because I read somewhere that people who like their tea hot are secretly super soft on the inside."

Taehyung blinked, clearly unamused. "Mr Joen…"

Jungkook clapped his hands together, leaning even closer with a dramatic whisper, "It’s true! It means you’re a total marshmallow under all that cold CEO stuff. Like, if I poked you, you’d just melt!"

There was a beat of silence.

Jungkook stared at Taehyung, waiting for some kind of response—anything really. But instead of melting, Taehyung’s eyebrow twitched slightly, and his expression hardened even more, if that was even possible.

"Jungkook," Taehyung said, his voice dangerously low, "If you don’t leave my office in the next three seconds…"

Jungkook, sensing imminent danger, immediately jumped back with both hands raised in surrender. "Okay, okay! I’m leaving! But you should know, marshmallows can’t stay tough forever, Mr. Kim!"

Taehyung pinched the bridge of his nose as Jungkook darted out of the office, his laughter trailing behind him.

---

Once back at his desk, Jungkook sat down and sighed dramatically, whispering to himself, "He’s totally a marshmallow. Just wait, Taehyung. I’m gonna make you fluffier than any marshmallow." He wiggled a bit in his chair, feeling extra cute.

As the day went on, Jungkook found himself with a handful of simple tasks, but his mind kept drifting back to Taehyung. Sure, the CEO was cold and grumpy and had probably thought about throwing Jungkook out of a window multiple times, but there was something oddly satisfying about trying to crack his icy exterior.

---

Later in the afternoon, Taehyung called Jungkook into his office again. Jungkook rushed in, his usual smile plastered on his face.

"Yes, Mr. Kim?" Jungkook chirped, standing in front of Taehyung’s desk.

Taehyung, without looking up, handed him a stack of papers. "Take these to the finance department and get them signed off. And don’t waste time."

"Right away, mr kim" Jungkook saluted, grabbing the stack of papers and turning to leave, but then his foot caught on the edge of the carpet—again.

With a loud yelp, Jungkook tripped, papers flying everywhere as he tumbled to the ground in the most dramatic way possible. "Ahh!! Not again!!"

Taehyung looked up from his laptop, his eyes narrowing as he watched Jungkook sprawled out on the floor, surrounded by scattered papers.

Jungkook groaned, lifting his head and giving Taehyung a sheepish smile. "Oops. Heh… Guess the carpet doesn’t like me."

Taehyung stared at him for a moment, his expression unreadable, before letting out a long, exasperated sigh. "You’re going to be the death of me, Jungkook."

Jungkook scrambled to gather the papers, laughing nervously. "Don’t worry, Mr. Kim! I’m still alive and kicking!" He stood up, balancing the stack of papers again and gave a thumbs-up. "All good!"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Just go."

Jungkook darted out of the office, his cheeks flushed from embarrassment. "Stupid carpet!" he muttered under his breath, but even he couldn’t help but chuckle at his own clumsiness.

---

The rest of the day passed in a blur of small tasks and awkward moments, mostly involving Jungkook tripping over things, bumping into doors, and dropping files in the most inconvenient places. By the end of the day, he was exhausted but still proud of himself for surviving another day under Taehyung’s icy glare.

As Jungkook packed up his things to leave, he couldn’t resist sneaking one last glance into Taehyung’s office. The CEO was still there, typing away on his laptop with his usual serious expression. Jungkook smiled to himself.

He may be a cold CEO now, but one day, I’ll turn him into the fluffiest marshmallow ever.

With that thought in mind, Jungkook bounced out of the office, already excited for what tomorrow would bring.

But little did he know he is falling for the ceo

Inside his office, Taehyung leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. His day had been filled with back-to-back meetings, endless paperwork, and… a clumsy, overly cheerful bunny who seemed determined to test every last ounce of his patience.

And yet…

Taehyung glanced at the thermos of tea that still sat on his desk, untouched. He wasn’t much of a tea person, but for some reason, the thought of drinking the tea Jungkook had made didn’t seem so bad.

He reached for the thermos, pouring himself a cup. The scent of the tea filled the air, and as he took a sip, he found himself thinking—just for a second—that maybe, just maybe, this job wasn’t so terrible after all.

But of course, he’d never admit that. Especially not to Jungkook.
