The days had passed in a blur of laughter, cookies, and occasional playful banter between Jungkook and Taehyung. Each morning, Jungkook woke up with an excited flutter in his chest, eager to face the day and find new ways to tease the stoic CEO. Meanwhile, Taehyung found himself caught off guard by the unexpected brightness Jungkook brought into the otherwise rigid structure of his life. Little did they know, the upcoming week would change everything for both of them.

Jungkook entered the office, the morning sun spilling through the large windows. He couldn't help but skip a little, the thrill of the day ahead filling him with glee. As he passed his colleagues, he waved enthusiastically, spreading his cheerful aura like confetti.

"Morning, Jungkook! What's got you so hyped today?" one of his coworkers, Mina, called out.

"I baked lemon cookies last night! Come to the break room later for a taste!" Jungkook beamed, already planning to make the day even brighter.

Mina laughed. "You're a ray of sunshine! Just don't burn the place down, okay?"

"Never!" he replied, winking as he made his way to his desk. He could already envision Taehyung's expression upon seeing his latest creation, and he felt a bubbling excitement.

After setting down his bag, Jungkook pulled out his phone to check the time, and his heart skipped when he realized Taehyung had a meeting scheduled for the afternoon with a high-profile client. Jungkook wanted to make sure Taehyung's day was as smooth as possible, so he busied himself prepping for the meeting.

Later that morning, as Jungkook made his way to the break room to retrieve his cookies, he unexpectedly bumped into Taehyung in the hallway.

"Whoa!" Jungkook exclaimed as he nearly collided with Taehyung, who stood with his back turned, holding a stack of documents.

"Watch where you're going," Taehyung replied sharply, turning slightly to give Jungkook a disapproving look. But there was something in his gaze-something softening beneath the usual cold exterior. Jungkook felt a flutter in his stomach.

"Sorry! I was just... lost in my thoughts," Jungkook said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Try to keep your focus on your surroundings. We can't afford distractions in this office," Taehyung retorted, though the hint of a smile tugged at the corner of his lips, which Jungkook noticed.

Jungkook couldn't help but grin back, unfazed by Taehyung's grumpy demeanor. "I'll do my best! But you have to admit, I bring some fun to this serious place!"

"Fun is overrated," Taehyung replied, but the twinkle in his eyes suggested otherwise.

Jungkook pushed forward, fully invading Taehyung's space with unrelenting cheer. "Just wait until you try my lemon cookies! They're going to change your life."

"Life-changing cookies? You're overestimating your baking skills," Taehyung countered, crossing his arms, but Jungkook could sense the amusement bubbling under the surface.

"Challenge accepted! How about we have a cookie tasting session later? I'll even give you a rating," Jungkook declared, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
