The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across Taehyung's bedroom. Jungkook stirred, nestled in the sheets with Taehyung’s arm comfortably draped over him. A smile crept onto his face as he replayed the romantic evening they'd shared—the intimate dinner on the balcony, the quiet moments filled with soft laughter, and the comforting presence of Taehyung beside him.

Jungkook gently turned to face Taehyung, who was still asleep, his breathing slow and peaceful. For a moment, Jungkook simply watched him, admiring how serene he looked, unguarded and at ease. The realization hit Jungkook that these quiet mornings felt... perfect.

As if sensing his gaze, Taehyung’s eyes fluttered open, a lazy smile appearing as he took in Jungkook’s expression.

"Morning," Taehyung murmured, his voice deep and husky from sleep. He tightened his arm around Jungkook’s waist, pulling him just a bit closer.

"Morning," Jungkook whispered, feeling his cheeks warm as Taehyung’s gaze lingered on him.

They lay in comfortable silence for a few minutes before Taehyung finally spoke. "I was thinking… since it's the weekend, we could spend the day together. Just us. No work, no distractions."

Jungkook’s smile widened, nodding eagerly. “I’d like that.”

Taehyung shifted, gently brushing a few strands of hair from Jungkook’s face. “Good. Then let’s make it a day we’ll remember.”

---

After a leisurely breakfast together, they decided to explore the city. Taehyung suggested taking a walk around a nearby park, where the leaves had started to turn rich shades of red and orange, signaling the arrival of fall.

As they strolled through the park, Taehyung reached for Jungkook’s hand, lacing their fingers together. Jungkook felt a little thrill at the simple gesture, glancing up to see Taehyung smiling down at him, his eyes filled with warmth.

They wandered along the tree-lined paths, stopping to admire the golden hues of the leaves and the occasional squirrel scurrying by. The crisp autumn air was refreshing, and Jungkook found himself enjoying the simple pleasure of walking hand in hand with Taehyung.

At one point, they stopped by a small pond where a few ducks swam lazily. Taehyung pulled Jungkook a little closer, wrapping an arm around his waist as they watched the ducks glide across the water.

“This is nice,” Jungkook said softly, resting his head against Taehyung’s shoulder. “I feel like I haven’t had a day this peaceful in a long time.”

Taehyung’s arm tightened around him. “I feel the same way. And it’s even better because you’re here with me.”

They continued their walk, the conversations flowing effortlessly between them. Taehyung shared stories from his childhood, and Jungkook found himself laughing at the tales of Taehyung’s mischievous antics. In turn, Jungkook shared memories from his own past, moments he’d almost forgotten but that felt important to share with Taehyung.

By early afternoon, they decided to grab lunch at a small, cozy café Taehyung had mentioned. The café was tucked away on a quiet street, its interior filled with the comforting aroma of freshly baked bread and coffee. They found a table by the window, ordering sandwiches and hot drinks to ward off the chill.

As they ate, Jungkook looked around the café, noticing how couples and friends filled the tables, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. He felt a warmth in his chest, realizing how lucky he was to be here, with Taehyung, sharing these quiet, intimate moments.

Taehyung seemed to sense his thoughts, reaching across the table to take his hand. “You know,” he began, his voice soft, “I really enjoy being with you, Jungkook. More than I expected.”

Jungkook felt his cheeks warm, smiling as he squeezed Taehyung’s hand. “I feel the same way.”

---

After lunch, they headed back to Taehyung’s penthouse. They settled on the couch, flipping through movie options before deciding to watch a lighthearted rom-com. Jungkook nestled into Taehyung’s side, his head resting on Taehyung’s shoulder as the movie played.

Halfway through the movie, Taehyung shifted, his arm wrapping around Jungkook’s waist. Jungkook felt a pleasant warmth settle over him, his eyes starting to grow heavy as he relaxed in Taehyung’s embrace.

When the movie ended, they stayed curled up together, talking in hushed tones as the evening light began to fade. Taehyung’s fingers traced gentle patterns along Jungkook’s back, and every now and then, he would press a soft kiss to the top of Jungkook’s head.

Eventually, Taehyung looked down at him, a playful glint in his eyes. “You know, I think this might be one of my favorite weekends yet.”

Jungkook chuckled, tilting his head up to meet Taehyung’s gaze. “I think it’s one of mine too.”

They stayed like that, holding each other close as the city lights began to twinkle outside the windows.
