Under the bright lights of the arena, the air filled with excitement. Fans waved their lightsticks in unison, creating a sea of shimmering colors that danced to the rhythm of Seventeen's opening song. The stage was a stunning spectacle, adorned with dynamic screens that flashed vibrant visuals, enhancing the electrifying atmosphere.
As the first notes echoed through the venue, the members burst onto the stage, each one radiating charisma. They moved in perfect synchronization, showcasing their intricate choreography that left the audience in awe. The cheers were deafening, a tidal wave of support that enveloped them.
Carats, the devoted fans, sang along passionately, their voices intertwining with the music. The energy was infectious, every beat igniting a surge of excitement. As they transitioned into the next song, the members took a moment to connect with the crowd, their smiles beaming brighter than the lights overhead.
"Are you all having fun?" Woozi shouted, his voice filled with warmth. The crowd erupted in response, chanting the members' names. The connection was palpable, each member feeding off the energy radiating from the audience.
As they performed a fan-favorite track, the choreography became more intense, showcasing their impressive dance skills. The transitions were seamless, each member highlighting their strengths-Joshua's smooth vocals, Mingyu's powerful presence, and Dino's youthful exuberance.
As the adrenaline of the performance surged, Mingyu's eyes darted around the stage, taking in every detail. It was during a particularly intense dance break that he caught sight of a section of the stage, its edge wobbling precariously. A rush of alarm shot through him.
"Guys, stay away from that part!" he shouted, urgency lacing his voice. But the music was loud, and the cheers from the crowd drowned out his warning.
Dino, lost in the moment and focused on his next move, didn't hear Mingyu's call. He danced closer to the unstable section, oblivious to the danger. Mingyu's heart raced as he watched, panic rising within him.
Mingyu reached Dino just in time, grabbing his arm and pulling him away from the edge of the broken stage. Relief flooded through him for a moment, but as he turned to steady himself, his foot slipped on the jagged edge of the damaged floor. Time seemed to slow as he lost his balance, teetering precariously before crashing down into the darkness below.
The crowd gasped in unison, a collective sound of horror that echoed through the arena. Mingyu fell for what felt like an eternity, hitting the ground with a heavy thud that sent shockwaves through the air.
"Hyung!" Dino screamed, his voice piercing through the stunned silence that followed. The members quickly huddled closer, eyes wide with panic, their hearts racing.
"Someone call for help!" Seungcheol urged, urgency in his voice as he peered over the edge, his heart pounding. The crew, already on high alert, rushed into action, and the lights were lowered to illuminate the area where Mingyu had fallen.
Dino stood frozen for a moment, his breath hitching in his throat. Seungkwan quickly reached out to him, grounding him. "Dino, we need to stay calm. Let's make sure Mingyu hyung is okay," he said, his voice steadying the younger member.
As the backstage staff arrived, the other members worked to keep the audience calm, their smiles returning, but the worry in their eyes was unmistakable.
"Stay with us, Mingyu!" Wonwoo called, leaning over the edge as he strained to see below. "Can you hear us?"
A faint groan came from the darkness, and the crowd collectively held their breath. The sound filled the arena with hope, a reminder that Mingyu was still there, still fighting.
