Joshua | Stomach Bug

Joshua's POV

I have been feeling headache, chills, and stomach cramps for about 3 hours now. I don't know what just happened to me, when we got home from dance practice I was still fine. I spent the night till dawn on my bed tossing around, and holding my aching stomach, until I fell asleep due to exhaustion.

Around 7:00 am, I woke up with a feeling of intense pain on my stomach. I sat up on my bed slowly, reached my water in the small table beside me and took a sip, to ease the dryness in my throat.

When I was about to go out and go to the bathroom to take some painkiller, my door suddenly went open. There, Chan standing on the door frame.

Dino: Hyung, Good morning! We can have our breakfast now.

Joshua: Good morning Dino-ya.

Even though I don't have the strength to talk, I still responded to our maknae, so that he won't notice me struggling.

Dino: Hyung are you okay? You seem weak today.

Joshua: Just tired from yesterday's practice.

Dino: Can you attend today hyung? You can rest here at the dorm if you can't, I can tell hyungs about it.

Joshua: No, I'm clearly fine. I'll be there in 5 minutes.

Dino: Alright hyung, we'll wait for you.

I thought Dino wouldn't notice it, I guess I'm not too good at acting fine at all. I slowly get up, held my aching stomach, and walk to the bathroom. As I get inside, I immediately look for pain killers for my headache and stomach ache. I also felt burning so I took the thermometer and put it in my mouth. After sometime, I took it out and there 38.8 degrees celsius, clearly a fever.

I hope that these medicines would work until our dance practice finish today. I headed down stairs to meet my members waiting for me and have our breakfast together. Thankfully my stomach ache felt better.

Seungkwan: Shua-hyung in here, let's dig in!

I sat down beside Jeonghan and they started to eat. But due to my stomach ache a while ago, I have no appetite to eat right now. I only took a banana and slowly eat it.

Cheol: Joshua, aren't you going to eat more? We have an intense practice again today.

Joshua: I am not that hungry right now, I'll just have a bigger meal later lunch.

Jeonghan: Are you sure? You aren't sick right?

Joshua: I'm sure. I am not sick

We continued eating until we are all finish. After 2 hours of getting ready, we went to our respective vans according to our units. I sat down at the very back seat because I am planning to take a bit of sleep.

Dk's POV

On our way to the studio, I sat at the middle of the van with Woozi-hyung on my side, Jeonghan at the passenger seat, while Seungkwan and Joshua-hyung at the back. After some minutes, I can see in my peripheral vision that Shua-hyung was fast asleep. I wonder if he's sick or just too tired today. After 30 minutes of ride, we arrived on the studio.

Dk: Kwannie please wake up Shua-hyung.

Seungkwan begun to shake hyung's shoulder to wake him up.

Seungkwan: Hyung wake up, we are here now.

Shua-hyung started to open his eyes and we slowly get out of the van.

Joshua's POV

That 30 minutes ride made my headache a bit well and I don't feel any stomach ache right now. My body temperature seems to drop a bit also. I hope that I will get well until this day ends.
