Wonwoo slipped out of bed, careful not to disturb Mingyu, who was still peacefully asleep. He tiptoed down the hallway, the morning light filtering softly through the curtains.
As he reached Seungkwan's room, he peered inside to find his son curled up under a pile of blankets, snoring lightly. A smile spread across Wonwoo's face.
"Looks like someone is in a deep sleep," he whispered to himself, then quietly made his way to the kitchen.
He turned on the coffee maker, the familiar sound bringing a sense of calm to the morning. Just as he was pulling out ingredients for breakfast, he heard a sleepy voice behind him.
"Dadda, is that you?" Seungkwan blinked, rubbing his eyes as he shuffled into the kitchen.
"Morning, baby! You're up early," Wonwoo said, kneeling to give him a quick hug. "Are you hungry?"
"Uh-huh! Can we have pancakes?" Seungkwan asked, his face lighting up.
"Of course! How many do you want?" Wonwoo asked, reaching for the flour.
"Three!" Seungkwan declared, beaming.
As Wonwoo began mixing the ingredients, Mingyu wandered in, hair tousled and eyes half-open.
"Good morning, love," Wonwoo teased, glancing over his shoulder.
"Morning babe," Mingyu mumbled, making his way to the coffee pot. "What's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes, just like Seungkwan asked," Wonwoo replied, stirring the batter.
Mingyu chuckled. "Of course he did. That kid knows how to get what he wants."
"Maybe he gets it from you," Wonwoo shot back playfully.
"Hey! I'm not that bad!" Mingyu protested, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
Seungkwan giggled, "Daddy, you totally are!"
"Oh, is that how it is?" Mingyu raised an eyebrow, pretending to be offended. "I'm going to have to show you both who the boss is around here."
Wonwoo rolled his eyes, a smile on his face. "Sure, boss. Just don't burn the toast like last time."
Mingyu crossed his arms dramatically. "That was one time!"
"Yeah daddy, one time too many," Seungkwan chimed in, earning a laugh from Wonwoo.
"Alright, alright. I'll stick to pancakes. But you two better help me clean up," Mingyu said, grinning as he ruffled Seungkwan's hair.
"Deal!" Seungkwan said, excitement bubbling in his voice.
As the kitchen filled with the smell of pancakes, the three of them settled into their morning routine, laughter echoing around them.
After the three of them finished their pancakes, the table was filled with laughter and chatter.
"Delicious, Dadda!" Seungkwan exclaimed, wiping syrup off his face.
"Glad you liked it, little man," Wonwoo replied, a warm smile on his face. "You'll have to help me make them next time."
"Can we put chocolate chips in them?" Seungkwan suggested, eyes wide with excitement.
"Absolutely! We'll have a chocolate chip pancake day," Wonwoo agreed.
Mingyu stood up, collecting the plates. "Alright, team! Time to clean up before we turn into pancakes ourselves."
Once the table was clear, Wonwoo guided Seungkwan to the bathroom. "Baby let's get you ready for school," he said, helping him into the tub.
Seungkwan splashed water playfully. "Daddy, can I have a superhero sticker on my uniform today?"
