As the lights dimmed and the last echoes of their final concert in Japan faded away, the members of Seventeen found themselves collapsed on the couch in their waiting room. Exhaustion settled heavily on their shoulders, yet a sense of fulfillment lingered in the air. They had just completed a world tour that had taken them to places they had only dreamed of, and the cheers of Carats still resonated in their hearts.
"Alright, guys, let's do this Weverse live," S.Coups suggested, his voice a mixture of fatigue and enthusiasm. "We need to thank our fans for their incredible support!"
The members nodded in agreement, but as they settled in, Jeonghan stood at the back, gripping the couch tightly. His head swirled, and he fought to stay upright. Minghao, who had taken a spot beside him, noticed the way Jeonghan's eyes fluttered slightly, struggling to focus.
"Hyung, are you okay?" Minghao whispered, concern lacing his voice.
Jeonghan forced a smile, trying to shake off the dizziness. "I'm fine, just a little tired. Just need to get through this," he replied, but his tone lacked its usual cheer.
The live started, and the camera zoomed in on the group, faces beaming despite their exhaustion. "Thank you, Carats, for joining us tonight!" Woozi said, his voice upbeat. "This tour wouldn't have been the same without your energy!"
"Seriously, you guys were amazing!" Hoshi added, his signature bright smile cutting through the fatigue. "Every city, every stage, it just felt incredible!"
As the others spoke, Minghao discreetly wrapped an arm around Jeonghan's waist, feeling him sway slightly. "Hyung, maybe you should sit down," he murmured, leaning closer.
"I can't," Jeonghan replied, gritting his teeth. "Just a few more minutes, okay?" He focused on the camera, forcing himself to engage. "Carats, you are the reason we can do what we love. Thank you for every single moment!"
"Yeah!" DK chimed in. "We're going to remember this tour forever! Let's keep making more memories together!"
While the members continued to interact with their fans, Jeonghan felt the world tilting. He glanced at Minghao, who was watching him intently. "Really, I'm fine," he insisted softly, but Minghao could see the strain in his eyes.
"Just hang in there, Hyung," Minghao whispered back, squeezing his waist gently. Jeonghan took a deep breath, trying to push through, thinking about how much the Carats meant to them.
After a few more heartwarming exchanges, it was time to wrap things up. "We love you, Carats!" Joshua said, waving enthusiastically. "We can't wait to see you again!"
"Thank you for everything," Jeonghan managed to say, his voice a little shaky but determined. "We're grateful for your support. Always."
"Goodbye, everyone! See you soon!" the members chimed in unison, their voices blending into a harmonious farewell.
As the live ended, Jeonghan finally let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding, leaning slightly against the couch. Minghao kept his arm around him, feeling the tension slowly ease.
As the live stream clicked off, a wave of relief washed over the members. They all began to stretch and relax, but Jeonghan's body, finally free from the pressure of the live, could no longer hold itself up. He let his legs give way, slowly sinking to the ground. Minghao, still holding onto him, tried to support him, but they both tumbled down together, landing softly on the carpet.
"Hyung!" Minghao exclaimed, quickly shifting to ensure Jeonghan was okay. "What happened? You should have said something!"
Jeonghan groaned softly, his head resting against Minghao's shoulder. "I thought I could make it. Just needed to push through..."
