Hello Engene1222! Here is your request, I hope you'll like it!
The dorm was filled with the delicious aroma of grilled meat and freshly prepared side dishes. Seungcheol wiped his hands on his apron, nodding with satisfaction as he looked at the spread he, Jeonghan, and Joshua had managed to put together. Plates of kimchi, seasoned vegetables, steaming bowls of rice, and a platter of perfectly grilled bulgogi sat neatly on the table.
Jeonghan stretched, pretending to groan. "Ah, the things I do for you kids. My back hurts from all this cooking."
Joshua laughed, rolling his eyes. "You chopped three vegetables, Jeonghan. Don't act like you carried the whole meal on your back."
Seungcheol smirked. "Yeah, I saw you sneaking tastes more than anything. You better hope there's enough left for everyone."
Jeonghan gasped dramatically, placing a hand on his chest. "How dare you accuse me of such betrayal! I was just testing to make sure it's safe for the kids."
"Right, and that's why the bulgogi was mysteriously disappearing," Joshua teased, nudging Jeonghan with his elbow.
Just then, Jun popped his head into the kitchen, his voice ringing with excitement. "Hyungs! Everything ready? I just told the kids to come down. They're starving, and Mingyu keeps sniffing the air like a dog."
"Of course, it's ready," Seungcheol said, grinning. "It's time to eat before Mingyu devours the table."
"Good luck stopping him," Jeonghan said, leaning casually against the counter. "That kid can smell food from a mile away."
One by one, the younger members trickled into the dining area. Dino was the first, clapping his hands together. "Wah! Hyungs, this looks amazing! Did you really cook this yourselves?"
"Of course," Joshua said, pulling out a chair. "What do you think we've been doing in here for the past hour?"
"Complaining," Seungkwan quipped as he appeared behind Dino, making everyone laugh.
Mingyu followed close behind, eyes wide and focused on the food. "Whoa! This looks so good. I could cry."
"Don't cry into the food," Wonwoo said dryly as he took a seat, patting Mingyu on the shoulder.
The rest of the group filled the room with lively chatter as they settled in. Hoshi bounced to his seat, grinning ear to ear. "I feel like we're having a feast before war. Are we sure the Going Seventeen shoot is happening tonight? Can't we just film us eating instead?"
"That would be a pretty boring episode," Woozi replied, taking a sip of water. "But knowing us, someone would turn it into chaos."
"Probably you," Vernon muttered, earning a laugh from everyone.
As they all sat around the table, Seungcheol stood up and raised his voice slightly to get everyone's attention. "Alright, guys. Let's eat quickly and clean up before heading to the shoot. But first-"
"Wait!" Jeonghan interrupted, holding up a piece of meat with his chopsticks. "Let me make sure this is really safe to eat."
Joshua groaned, pushing Jeonghan's hand down. "You're not the food safety inspector. Sit down."
Everyone burst into laughter as Jeonghan dramatically relented and finally took his seat. The sound of chopsticks clinking against bowls filled the room as they all began digging in, their energy buzzing in anticipation of the night ahead.
After the feast, Seungcheol clapped his hands together to gather everyone's attention. "Alright, we're full now. Time to divide the work! Mingyu, DK, and Minghao, you three are on dish duty. Everyone else, go get ready-shower, change, and pack anything you might need."
