The next morning, Risa woke up early, excited to be with her love again. Alicia was still sleeping, pagod na pagod ito kaya hindi muna inistorbo ni Risa. She cooked waffles for breakfast, knowing that the twins didn't want to eat rice, only bread with their milk.
"Mmmmmm, bago ahhh," Alicia said while hugging Risa from behind.
"Good morning, Ali..." She turned and kissed Alicia on the forehead.
"Good morning," Alicia leaned closer to give Risa a kiss, but Gavin suddenly called out.
"Mommy... Mommy..." He cried while shouting. Alicia panicked and ran to the bed.
"What's wrong?" She held Gavin's cheeks and wiped his tears.
"I miss Mommy Risa... Please, I want to go to Mommy Risa... Mommy," Gavin cried, sobbing. He might have had a nightmare and thought they were still at their house.
"Gav, Mommy is here now, oh. Did you have a nightmare?" Gavin nodded.
"I saw someone take Mommy Risa, and I saw blood po," Alicia trembled when she heard this from Gavin. She looked at Risa, who was still cooking. "Mommy needs help... Mommy needs help po," Gavin cried even harder. Alicia just hugged him. Gavin started struggling to breathe; he was having an asthma attack. She called Risa.
"Risa? Risa? Si Gavin?" Risa rushed over and saw Gavin struggling to breathe. She grabbed the nebulizer and put some medicine.
"Oh my God, Anak, bakit???" Risa panicked. It was her first time seeing Gavin have an asthma attack, and she was so worried about him. Alicia rubbed Gavin's back.
"Mommy?" Gavin still called for Risa. Risa held his hand while crying. Gavin was getting better, his breathing returning to normal, but Risa continued to cry.
"Tahan na, Theresia, baka ikaw na naman ang atakihin," Calvin woke up, crawling closer to them and hugging Risa.
"Mommy?" he asked, confused about what had happened. Alicia kissed Calvin.
"Good morning, Anak," she smiled.
"Muh-nen, Mommy," Calvin greeted. Risa hugged him back.
"Good morning, Anak," she said, looking at Gavin, who was now okay but still tulala. "Gavin, Baby, are you okay now?" Gavin nodded.
"Don't worry about Theresia, ganito lang talaga siya, na-miss ka lang siguro," she laughed. "Iba rin 'tong mamiss. Isang tahimik lang, pero deep inside, miss na miss ka na."
"Kawawa naman ang mga anak ko," she hugged them. "Gutom na kayo?" The twins nodded. They ate at the dining table, enjoying the waffles Risa made. They bonded during breakfast, and the sadness in Gavin's eyes faded.
---------
They bonded at the hotel swimming pool."Mommy, swimming tayo!" Gavin shouted at Alicia, who was wearing an oversized t-shirt. Alicia joined them, playing with the twins while Risa taught Calvin and Gavin how to swim.
"Look, Mommy! I know how to swim!" Calvin proudly exclaimed. Alicia and Risa laughed.
