Risa was shocked when she heard the conversation between Alicia and Lola Carmen. The first time she heard Gavin calling Alicia "Mommy," it felt like Gavin was calling her. She asked Ate Gie to pack her things while Alicia and Lola Carmen were still talking.
"Kahit anak ni Risa si Gavin, kuha niya pa rin ang mata mo-"
"May lahi po kasi kaming Chinese, my grandma was pure Chinese, Lola Carmen," she said. She couldn't bear not to speak. They got inside the car, and Ate Gie asked her.
"San po tayo pupunta, Mayor?"
"We're going to Santander." She turned off her phone and started the car. It was midnight, and there was no traffic. Risa drove fast because she was eager to see the twins. Her heart was filled with both happiness and anger, so the journey remained quiet. They stopped at a 24/7 store to buy pasalubong for the kids and Alicia's family.

Alicia couldn't sleep because of the anxiety she felt. She didn't know what to do or how to face Risa, nor did she know what would happen after everything.
"Kukunin ba niya sa akin ang mga bata? What if hindi ko na sila makita? What if ipagdamot niya?" she was crying at the veranda. It was already 2 AM, and she was still outside. "Ahhh! What if tatakas ako? What if uunahan ko na siya? Pero alam kong hahanapin at hahanapin niya kami. Arrghhhh! Anong gagawin ko!!!????"
Beep... Beep... Beep...
Alicia's heart pounded harder when she saw Risa's car in front of the gate. The guard they hired approached it. They hired security because they were afraid that Risa and Patricia's fans might come back and cause trouble at the house.
"Kuya Sito," she walked closer to the gate and asked him to open it. "Papasukin mo sila." Kuya Sito immediately opened the gate, and Alicia saw the anger in Risa's face, so she walked back into the house.
"Alicia!" Risa quickly got out of the car in a hurry. She was in such a rush that she didn't even close the driver's side door, so Ate Gie parked the car properly.
"Risa, apo?!" They stopped when Lola Carmen called Risa from Alicia's balcony. They rushed inside the house, and Lola Carmen came down. "Mabuti naman at nakarating ka agad." Risa greeted the elder and kissed her hand in respect. "Bukas na lang ako magpapaliwanag sa'yo. Kailangan ko munang puntahan ang mga bata-"
"Lola, pwede ko ba silang makita?" Lola Carmen looked at Alicia.
"Alicia, pwede ko ba silang makita muna bago ka magpaliwanag sa akin?" Risa was holding back her anger. Alicia just nodded and led the way upstairs. Lola Carmen stayed in the living room while Ate Gie entered.
"Hello po, Lola Carmen," she greeted while carrying two bags.
"Oy! Halika, pasok ka, Gie," Lola Carmen said, gesturing her inside. Gie placed the bags on the couch and greeted her by kissing her hand. "Kamusta ang biyahe?"
