Marco was waiting outside Alice's bedroom. He was so frustrated when he saw Risa; akala niya hindi na sila magkikita ni Alice ulit kaya naging kampante siya. He wanted to enter the room because he was confused about what was happening between Alicia and Risa. He thought maybe the two women had gotten back together, and Alicia had broken up with him.
"Argghhh!" He punched the wall. Meanwhile, Alicia opened the door.
"Ano yun?" he said angrily while Alicia looked at him. He saw Alicia was scared, so he calmed himself down.
"Marco, let me explain. It was an accident, tumawag si Risa. Napindot ni Gavin ang cellphone; I was so worried dahil kinakagat-kagat ni Gavin ang cellphone. Nagpanic ako dahil baka magasgasan ang gums niya o, worse, makalunok ng bubog ng cellphone," huminto siya sa sunod-sunod na pagsasalita at huminga. "Nagusap kami ni Lola about the kids, and suddenly Risa spoke up. Hindi ko alam na tumawag siya sa oras na yun kasi I thought Gavin was just watching kids' videos-"
"Really?!" He was still unconvinced, finding it impossible for a child to answer a call.
"Believe me, hindi ko ginusto 'to. It just happened, hon," she begged and closed the distance between them, holding Marco’s face. He looked away, but Alicia tried to face him. "I'm so sorry, hon. Okay, fine, anong dapat kong gawin para hindi ka na magalit sa akin?"
"Wag mong ipapakita ang mga bata sa kaniya," he calmly said, though his face remained angry.
"Marco, kilala siya ng mga bata. Napamahal na sila sa kaniya. Hindi ko naman mapaghiwalay 'yun ng ganun-ganun lang." Marco’s wish was impossible. Calvin was attached to Risa and always called her "Mommy."
"Yung mga bata ba ang napamahal sa kaniya o... ikaw?" he smirked angrily, his fists clenching to contain his anger.
"Hindi totoo yan—"
"Alam ko 'yun. I expected you to answer that, Alicia!" he shouted. "Unang-una pa lang, ayokong marinig ang pangalan ng mayorang 'yan, and now what happened?! Pinatuloy mo pa sa bahay niyo at pinakilala mo pa sa mga anak natin!" His shout was enough to trigger Alicia’s anger issues.
"Hindi ko kayang saktan ang mga anak ko, Marco! Mahal nila si Risa, and I want them to be happy! Wala kang karapatang tanggalan ng saya ang mga anak ko!" she shouted back, raising her eyebrows.
"Anak natin," he shouted back at her.
"Anak namin," she shouted. Marco stopped, unable to believe that Alicia would say that. He thought she would side with him over Risa, the woman who had caused her trauma, but he was wrong.
"Alicia?" he whispered, tears slowly flowing down. Alicia felt guilty when she saw Marco was hurt because of her words.
"Sana maintindihan mong parte ng buhay ng mga anak ko si Risa, at hindi 'yun mapapalitan ng pagmamahal mo, Marco," she stepped forward and attempted to go inside her bedroom.
