TU Timeline Part 5

(A/N: Okay so here is part 5. Finally done and in this timeline, humanity finally becomes literal cosmic/dimensional deities. Enjoy.)

2880 AD

-It would be 5 years since the end of the war with the Great Khan and the peace that soon followed. Though tenuous, the new treaty signed was still upheld as humanity kept to their half of the galaxy isolated while the other half worked to rebuild their respective civilizations. From then on, neither side made any attempts to contact the other as both humans and xenos stayed on their side of the galaxy.

-However, what neither side would know at the time is that both humans and the many alien races alike would once again be forced to work together for mutual survival.

2881 AD: DISCOVERY OF AN EXTRAGALACTIC CLUSTER

-A Terran scout fleet explored some uncharted regions in space within their territory as they detected an energy signature. Curious, they launch an investigation and soon discover a structure called an L-Gate (Stellaris) which resided over the event horizon of the black hole. After managing to activate it, scout drones are sent in and what they find on the other side is what could only be described as an extra-galactic cluster.

-To the delight of these initial pioneers, the cluster was of tremendous scientific value. Many of its worlds were coated in long since deactivated nanites, and their discovery catapulted the Union's understanding of nanotechnology by perhaps centuries. However, the most shocking discovery was when they find what appears to be 5x planet size structures called Shield Worlds (Halo). Being hollow inside with 2x housing a star while the other 3x house an entire habitable planet, fleets of the Terran Union are sent in for investigation. 

-Upon finding a way into those shield worlds, humanity discovers multiple 20k deep bunkers and alien artifacts, with some even strikingly resemble being human in design. Furthermore, the TU also discovers what appears to be several libraries containing a lot of data and archives in which TU scientists and researchers began decoding and downloading. As for the bunkers themselves, the military finds what appears to be hyper advanced weaponry, vehicles, aircrafts, mechs, and even warships. Unkown to them, this was the LAST of the Ancient Human, Isu, and Precursors technology given to the Union for the war that was to come.

-With this discovery, humanity begins reverse engineering all of the data and technology, especially the Nanites technology which were used to supplement Terran military and civilian networks, rapidly improving their efficiency and capabilities.

-With the enormous wealth and insights of the extra-galactic cluster seized by the Terran Union, new technologies that were considered unthinkable were now able to be made possible such as actual Teleportation (Star Trek), a device made called the Replicator (Star Trek), the use of Programmable Matter (Star Trek), and a medical breakthrough such as the Med-Bay (Elysium). These technologies helped humanity move forward by tens of millennia, making them one of the most advanced and powerful interstellar civilization in the galaxy.

2910-2930 AD: PROJECT RA

-After discovering the extra-galactic cluster and the treasure trove of resources that came with it, the Terran Union began initiating a series of projects that many considered unfeasible or put on hold due to the lack of resources.

-Named after the Egyptian God of the Sun, 'Project: RA' is initiated as humanity makes attempts of creation a Dyson Sphere. It would take 20 years before finally the Terran Union created a Dyson Sphere.
