"Yah, Kim Y/n! Just because you're the class president doesn't mean you can act like my mom!" Jung Cha shouted, his voice ringing through the corridor. He stood there with his trademark bad boy attitude, arms crossed defiantly, flanked by his minions who smirked and whispered among themselves. You rolled your eyes, irritation rising within you. Turning to face him, you took in the scene of his loyal followers, clearly ready to back him up with their laughter and snide comments.
"Jung Cha," you said firmly, meeting his gaze. "Being class president means I care about our class, not that I'm here to babysit you."
He scoffed, tilting his head with defiance. "Then why the heck do you care if I smoke?"
You raised an eyebrow, showing no change in your demeanor. "Because I'd hate for the fire alarm to go off and ruin my study time when you set the school on fire with those pathetic attempts at rebellion."
"Yah, you'll have to face my fist if you do this again!" he threatened, his voice rising. A crowd of curious students began to gather, intrigued by the unfolding drama.
Jisoo, your best friend, rushed through the crowd, shouting, "You clown head! Leave my baby alone!" Her threat was clear, but Jung Cha just rolled his eyes.
"Shut up!" he shot back.
You sighed in annoyance, snatching a book from Jisoo's hands and striding over to Jung Cha. Adopting a disinterested posture, you started tapping his head with the book. He began to step back, trying to dodge your hits.
"Don't you dare cause trouble around here," you warned, keeping your tone light but firm. "Next time, I'll rat you out to the teachers. They'll believe me over you anyway."
With one final tap of the book, you turned on your heels and walked away, leaving Jung Cha fuming behind you. Jisoo quickly fell in step beside you, a triumphant grin on her face.
"Did you see his reaction?" she laughed, trying to contain her amusement. "That was priceless!"
To which you just nodded.
"Hyung, pinch me! I can't believe she's real! She was so cool!" Jungkook exclaimed, his hands dramatically pressed against his heart as he sat in the cafeteria.
Jimin shook his head with a knowing smile. "You're seriously smitten, Jungkook. Everyone in school knows how much you like Y/n. It's not like she's some celebrity."
Jin slid into the seat next to Jungkook, smirking. "Yeah, and you're not the only one, by the way. Half the guys here have a crush on her, but she doesn't pay attention to any of you."
Jungkook sighed, his gaze softening as he thought of you. "It's not just a crush, though. She's different."
Jin grinned and teased, "Oh, we know. You've only been mooning over her for months."
