The firm's usually serene office buzzed faintly with the sound of fingers typing, papers shuffling, and muffled conversations. That was, until your voice cut through the calm like a blade.

"I beg your pardon?" Your tone was sharp enough to make even the coffee machine stutter.

The man standing in front of you, a potential client in an ill-fitting suit, shifted awkwardly. He had clearly miscalculated his attempt at charm. "I just meant—you're too pretty to be sitting in an office all day. Maybe you could—"

"Stop. Right. There." Your hand shot up, silencing him mid-sentence. Your glare could've melted steel, and the poor man's confidence evaporated faster than steam. "Do you have any idea where you are? This is a law firm, not a speed-dating event. And in case you're wondering, I don't mix business with your kind of nonsense."

The man stammered, "I didn't mean to offend—"

"Oh, you didn't mean to? Fantastic. Let me tell you what I mean," you snapped, leaning forward on your desk. "If you think it's appropriate to flirt with the lawyer you're trying to hire, you're already losing this imaginary case. You need representation, not a reality check—though, clearly, you could use both."

Across the office, heads were turning. Phones were lowered mid-call, emails left unsent, and conversations trailed off as everyone tuned in to the impromptu verbal takedown.

From his desk, Wonwoo leaned back in his chair with a faint smirk. "Well, there goes another one," he muttered, stroking his chin thoughtfully as if analyzing a game strategy.

Next to him, Mina and Jisoo—both clutching their coffees—nodded in unison. Mina sighed. "They never learn, do they?"

"Not when it's Y/N," Jisoo added with a small grin. "She's got a radar for creeps."

Back at the desk, the man's face was beet red as he fumbled for an excuse to leave. You simply crossed your arms, your fiery gaze unwavering. "If you're still interested in hiring someone here, I suggest you walk to the front desk and book an appointment with someone else. Because trust me, the only thing I'd win for you is a restraining order—against yourself."

As the man hurried out the door, you took a deep breath and smoothed your blazer, turning to grab your coffee like nothing had happened. You barely noticed the muted applause coming from someone across the office.

"That's the third one this week," Mina whispered, tilting her head toward Wonwoo.

"Third?" Wonwoo replied, shaking his head. "Feels like a record's being broken every day."

"Good thing she's our best lawyer," Jisoo quipped. "Imagine if she wasn't.""

Best?" Wonwoo smirked. "She's the loudest, for sure. But I'll give her this—she never misses."

Your office was alive with a kind of energy that was entirely your own. Stacks of legal documents spilled across your desk, interspersed with stray pens, half-finished coffee cups, and hastily scrawled sticky notes. Your system was one of intuition and spontaneity—chaotic to anyone else, but somehow, it worked.

You sat cross-legged in your chair, a pen tucked behind your ear, and a tune hummed softly under your breath. It wasn't unusual to hear you humming or singing snippets of a song while you worked, especially when you were deep in concentration. It wasn't a distraction to you; if anything, it seemed to fuel your relentless focus.
