Awkward. That's the only thought running through your mind as you clench the hem of your dress, giving awkward smiles to the man sitting opposite you. But he was trying his best to make the date work.

Yes, this was a date, more like an arranged date. A date before marriage. Jeon Jungkook, the man in front of you, or you could say your soon-to-be husband. A date that was fully arranged by your parents so you could get to know each other before the big step towards marriage.

But how are two inexperienced grown-up adults supposed to act during a date?

Jungkook is 27, CEO of NexV, a multinational gaming company. And you are 26. According to your parents, you both are getting old, so why not get married to each other?

Neither of you had dated anyone before. Both of you been too busy with the business world to even think about relationships.So your parents found the solution: get married to each other.

The first meeting was awkward max. You tried talking but ended up babbling nonsense as you were nervous, but he was clam about it. Later, you both agreed to the marriage and decided to start slow.

So today was better than the first meeting.

"So, do you need something else?" Jungkook asked, passing you the wine glass.

You took the glass from him, your fingers brushing against his for a moment. "No, this is perfect, thank you," you replied, managing a small smile.

"To be honest, I am still nervous," you said honestly.

He looked at you, his expression softening. "It's okay to be nervous. I'm nervous too," he admitted. "This is new for both of us. But I think if we keep being honest with each other, it will get easier."

You nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. "Yeah, I think so too. It's just... a lot to take in."

"It is," Jungkook agreed. "But we have time. I promise i'll take care of you"

You smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. "Thank you, Jungkook. That means a lot."

He raised his glass. "To our beginnings," he said with a smile.

You clinked your glass with his. "To our beginnings."

The marriage ceremony was grand, a beautiful blend of tradition and elegance. The venue was adorned with opulent floral arrangements and sparkling chandeliers, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the occasion.
