It had been a quiet evening in the dorm after the whirlwind of recent days. Jungkook had insisted you rest, even bringing you tea with honey, saying it would "help your nerves." You were curled up on the couch in an oversized hoodie, feeling unusually relaxed. Jungkook was sitting cross-legged on the floor, his hair a little messy, focused on sketching something in a notebook.
"What are you doing?" you asked, tilting your head curiously.
"Just doodling," he replied, not looking up. "It helps me think."
You stretched a little, the blanket sliding down your shoulders, and leaned closer to peek over his shoulder. "Let me see."
Jungkook immediately slammed the notebook shut, his ears turning pink. "No way!"
"Why not?" you laughed, raising an eyebrow. "What are you hiding in there?"
"Nothing," he said quickly, but the blush creeping up his neck betrayed him.
"Is it a love letter? A secret crush? Oh, wait," you teased, leaning in closer with a sly grin. "Did you draw me?"
His wide-eyed panic gave him away.
"Oh my god, you did!" you exclaimed, your laughter filling the room.
"It's not like that!" he protested, holding the notebook tightly against his chest. "I was just... practicing."
"Practicing what?" you teased, tugging playfully at the corner of the notebook.
He sighed, clearly flustered, but eventually relented. "Fine. But don't laugh."
Jungkook opened the notebook to reveal a sketch of you sitting at the dining table, your chin resting in your hand, gazing out the window. It was simple but beautifully detailed, capturing a soft, contemplative expression you didn't even know you had.
Your teasing smile faded, replaced by quiet awe. "Jungkook... this is really good."
He scratched the back of his head, looking everywhere but at you. "It's not that great. I was just trying to get the shadows right."
"No, seriously," you said, your voice softer now. "It's amazing. I didn't know you could draw like this."
He finally looked at you, his expression shy but hopeful. "You're... kind of an easy subject," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, and before you could think it through, you reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair from his face. He froze, his eyes locking with yours, the notebook forgotten between you.
"You're really sweet, you know that?" you said, your voice almost playful, but the warmth in your eyes gave away the sincerity.
Jungkook swallowed hard, his cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink. "I'm not... I mean, I just..." He trailed off, clearly flustered, and you couldn't help but giggle.
Without thinking, you leaned forward and pressed a quick, soft kiss to his cheek. "Thank you for drawing me," you said, pulling back just enough to see his reaction.
Jungkook stared at you, wide-eyed and utterly stunned, his hand automatically going to his cheek as if to confirm what just happened.
"Y-Y/N..." he stammered, his voice cracking slightly, and you couldn't help but laugh again.
"You're too cute," you teased, leaning back into the couch with a grin.
Jungkook groaned, covering his face with both hands, but the smile peeking out from behind his fingers told you he didn't mind one bit.
