K&M, a global powerhouse, was hosting a joint meeting with representatives from several multinational partners to discuss stock performance and strategic alliances. Among the attendees were the CEOs of Jink and KJK, two men in their late 40s who made no effort to hide their mutual disdain.

The tension between them was palpable, a stark contrast to the spirit of collaboration that the meeting was supposed to embody. It was clear that these two couldn't stand each other, despite the professional setting.

Meanwhile, at the same time, their kids, Y/n and Jungkook, seemed to be exchanging heart-eyed glances instead.

Jungkook had no intention of concentrating on the meeting. Instead, he felt no regret in focusing entirely on getting his girlfriend's attention. His mind was far from business matters, as he found it much more satisfying to steal glances and share flirty smiles with Y/n.

Y/n was doing her best to maintain a professional demeanor, trying not to blush under the intensity of Jungkook's gaze. However, his charm was simply too powerful to ignore. She knew they had to keep their relationship under wraps, especially with their fathers still acting like bickering teenagers. The last thing they needed was for their dads to find out about their lovey-dovey relationship in the middle of such a tense situation.

As the meeting wrapped up, Jungkook gave Y/n a quick glance, a silent signal that his girlfriend of four years picked up effortlessly. It was clear they had been perfecting this unspoken communication for a while.

"Kook~, you should stop trying to distract me during meetings," You whined as soon as they reached the stairway at the back entrance, a quiet place rarely used by others—a perfect spot for their secret rendezvous.

"Come on, I couldn't wait," Jungkook replied, a playful grin spreading across his face. "It's been a week since I last had you in my arms, and all I could think about was kissing you hard."

Jungkook's words were barely out of his mouth before he closed the distance between them, capturing You're lips in a deep, passionate kiss. The warmth of his embrace and the intensity of his kiss made you forget everything else.

Reluctantly, they pulled apart, breathless. Jungkook looked at her with a hint of regret in his eyes. "I have to head back soon," he said, brushing a strand of hair away from your face. "And so do you."

You nodded, your gaze filled with longing. "I know. Let's meet at your apartment later?"

Jungkook smiled, his eyes lighting up. "Absolutely. I'll be counting the minutes until then."

With a final, lingering kiss, they parted ways, both eagerly anticipating their time together later.

As Y/n and her father, Jacob, got into their car, she noticed a change in his demeanor. He seemed unusually worked up, and Y/n wondered if she should be concerned.

"Do you know what Jaemin did today?" Jacob began, his voice filled with mock indignation. "He bought a new phone case with the picture of that old trophy—the one I was supposed to get!"

You looked at him, puzzled. "What trophy?"

Jacob's face twisted into a playful scowl. "The four hundred meter relay trophy from when we were in fifth grade! The one where we were neck and neck, and I was totally robbed!"

You laughed nervously, trying to ease the awkwardness. "Dad, you're still hung up on that? It was so long ago."

Jacob threw his hands up dramatically. "Of course I am! Jaemin's flaunting that trophy on his phone case like it's some kind of holy relic. It's like he's taunting me from the past, saying, 'Remember when I won and you didn't? Here's a permanent reminder!'"
