SOPHIA'S ANGER
Sophia rose from her seat, her voice trembling with rage. "Count me out of this, you bloody murderer!"
Mason's laughter echoed as Sophia turned to leave. "If you change your mind, don't hesitate to call. I'll be waiting."
Sophia ignored him, storming out to her car and speeding away, her anger boiling over.
The Next Day...
Mia's face flushed as she spotted Bryson at his desk. "Good morning, boss," she cooed.
Bryson chuckled, walking over to hug her. "Did you sleep well?" Mia asked.
"I couldn't stop staring at your picture last night. It made me sleep like a baby," Bryson replied, kissing Mia, who blushed deeper.
Her cheeks reddened, and Bryson laughed. "I adore it when you blush."
Mia rolled her eyes. "We're at work. Let's save the romance for later, bye," she whispered, pecking his lips before returning to her desk.
Bryson smiled. "My sassy girlfriend."
The two immersed themselves in work, the office falling silent.
Meanwhile, Sophia's puffy, red eyes betrayed her tears. Memories of her time with Bryson flooded back.
"I love him so much, but he chose to believe Mason," she sobbed.
Her phone rang, breaking the spell. Sophia hesitated before answering.
"Hi, Dad."
Their conversation ended, and a thought struck Sophia.
"What if Mason's playing games with me? Why not confirm this myself?"
With newfound determination, Sophia dressed and applied subtle makeup, transforming into a stunning vision.
Sophia sighed heavily before driving to BT Company, her emotions in turmoil.
Inside, Mia typed on her laptop, lost in thought. Suddenly, an idea struck her. She approached Bryson, absorbed in the document before him.
"Baby..." Mia called softly.
Bryson raised his head, his eyes locking onto hers. "You're busy, very busy?" Mia asked.
Bryson smiled. "Yes, but not too busy for my baby."
Mia blushed. "About what I wanted to tell you the other day... you—"
The door burst open, revealing Sophia's furious face. Her eyes blazed as she saw Mia sitting close to Bryson, their smiles igniting her rage.
Sophia stormed over, grabbing Mia's hair. "You bitch! How dare you date my man?"
Bryson's anger intensified. "Sophia, leave my girlfriend out of this!"
Sophia's jaw dropped. "Oh, really? You left me for this... this... slut?"
Mia stood firm, tears streaming down her face. "Don't you dare touch me again, you lunatic!"
Sophia's fury blinded her. She pushed Bryson to the floor and attacked Mia, tearing her clothes.
Bryson dialed security, and within moments, guards rushed in, dragging Sophia away.
"She's lost control," Bryson muttered, rushing to Mia.
"Baby, I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with that woman," he pleaded, wiping away Mia's tears.
Mia sobbed, clinging to Bryson.
A coworker entered with a document, halting at the scene. "Have you forgotten how to knock?" Bryson rebuked.
The embarrassed worker apologized and fled.
"I'm sorry about Sophia, baby. I'll get you a new dress right away," Bryson said.
Mia nodded, wrapping her arms around herself.
Bryson swiftly returned with a new dress. Mia changed, her gratitude evident as she hugged him tightly.
"I love you," Mia whispered.
"Forever, baby," Bryson replied, embracing her.
