HER NEW JOB AS HIS P.A

"I got hired!" Mia exclaimed happily, and they started dancing to an imaginary tune.

"This calls for a celebration! I told you, girl, you're a beauty with brains," Nora said, dashing out of the room only to return after a few minutes with an assortment of alcoholic drinks.

"Who gets drunk on a Monday morning?" Mia shouted in amusement.

"Nobody but me!" Nora shouted excitedly, opening the drinks, and they started indulging.

"Only one bottle, Mia, please. You've got zero tolerance for alcohol. I remember the stress I went through the other day when you got drunk in my mall, it was one hell of a day" Nora said, and Mia covered her face in embarrassment, chuckling.

"Must you remind me of that?" she asked, laughing, and they both burst into laughter.

A few minutes later, empty bottles of alcohol filled the floor, and the girls were sleeping on top of each other, entwined in a fit of giggles. Mia's leg rested on Nora's head, and Nora's hands were placed on Mia's stomach. They stared at each other, laughing like lunatics.

Suddenly, a loud bang on the door broke the silence, and Nora stared drunkenly at the door. "That must be the psychopath," she groaned, and they burst into laughter once again.

The door was flung open, and Dylan entered the room, stunned to see the mess they had created. The room reeked of alcohol. Dylan was frozen at a spot for a while before speaking up.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" he asked angrily, running up to Mia, who stared into his eyes, laughing like a mad woman.

"My devilishly handsome boyfriend, crazy one at that, I love you," Mia said in a drunk voice, grabbing Dylan's face closer to her and kissing his nose, smiling at him. Her cheeks were flushed red.

Nora stared at them in disgust and exclaimed, "What an awful sight," before passing out.

"Why did you drink so much when you know you have zero tolerance for alcohol?" Dylan asked, his face contorted with anger.

"I love it when you're angry," Mia chuckled and passed out, leaving the perplexed Dylan dumbfounded. "What the heck!" he shouted angrily.

Alina, his secretary, knocked nervously on the door before his cold reply. "Come in."

She entered his office and handed him Mia's resume. "She passed the interview, sir, and she's the only one capable of being your PA. She's intelligent, and the suggestions she gave us about the company worked out, causing us millions of dollars," Alina said, smiling.

Bryson stared at the resume in disbelief, greatly impressed but maintaining his stern look.

"I see," he said finally. "Tell her to start tomorrow."

"Yes, sir," Alina replied and left the office.

Bryson couldn't help but smile as he looked at Mia's resume again. He was looking forward to seeing her in action.

Bryson glanced at the resume in front of him and put it aside, unable to recognize the lady in the resume as Mia, the woman who had bumped into him. She looked so different in person, and the picture attached to the resume was from a long time ago, when she had first gained admission to college.

The next day, Mia kept glancing at her wristwatch as she groaned inwardly. "Calm down, Mia, I'm almost done," Nora, who had suddenly become her makeup artist, told the nervous Mia.

After a few minutes, Nora smiled in satisfaction as she stared at the beauty goddess in front of her. "Done," she said, as Mia stood up almost immediately and checked herself out in the mirror. She gasped in surprise as she turned to Nora. "Nora, is this me?" she asked, giggling.

"The new Mia," Nora chuckled, as Mia turned to the mirror again, blushing. Her hair was not styled this time around; it was combed and fell as it cascaded down her back. The lower edge of her hair was curled up, making it perfect, and it was glossy. The slight makeup on her face added to her beauty. She was dressed in a pink short gown, as she was a lover of pink. She put on a black heeled shoe and a matching black bag and hugged Nora, who kept beaming with a smile of satisfaction.

"Thanks, girlfriend," she cooed and kissed her on the cheeks before running out of the house, into the cab, and arriving at the BT company once again. As she entered, ladies gave her jealous stares, and men drooled over her, but she cared less. She pressed the button, and the elevator opened. She was stunned to see the handsome guy she had bumped into the other day inside the elevator.

She cleared her throat before entering, and the elevator closed. "Good morning, I guess you're one of the newly employed workers, right?" Mia asked the handsome dude jovially, but he just scoffed at her and gave her an angry glare before turning away.

"You jerk, I'm trying to be nice to you, so don't take it for granted," Mia sneered, rolling her eyes at him. The elevator door opened, and the handsome cold fish was the first to get out, probably pissed off by Mia. Mia sighed and came out too, heading to the CEO's office.

"Is the CEO going to have two PAs? Why are we going in the same direction?" Mia scoffed. She swallowed hard, seeing the handsome cold fish enter the office and slamming the door against her face, who was about to enter too, even though he didn't know she was behind him.

"That asshole!" Mia yelled and opened the door, seeing the sight in front of her. She almost fainted, trying hard to believe what was happening. She saw the handsome cold fish sitting on the swivel chair in the office, picking up some documents.

"He can't be the CEO, right?" she thought inwardly, but was flabbergasted as she saw a name tag on his table, which boldly wrote, "CEO Bryson Tyler." Mia broke out in cold perspirations as she shouted, "Oh no...."
