THE REUNION

Finally, they spotted an exit. Nora and Dylan sprinted out, while Bryson hesitated, noticing Mason trapped beneath rubble.

Mason's legs and stomach were crushed under iron and bricks, only his head visible. He locked eyes with Bryson, shock and pain etched on his face.

"Bryson!" Mason whispered, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Dylan's urgent shouts pierced the air. "Bryson, what are you waiting for? Do you want Mia to die? The building's collapsing!"

Bryson rushed outside, instructing Dylan to rush Mia to the hospital. Dylan sped away with Mia and Husayn, but Nora lingered.

"Bryson, are you coming with us?" Nora asked, tears welling up.

"I'll meet you at the hospital. I have something urgent to attend to," Bryson replied.

Nora's concern deepened. "But the building's collapsing. You'll die, and Mia will be devastated when she wakes up."

Dylan intervened, "Nora, Bryson, what are you waiting for?"

Bryson reassured Nora, "I won't die. Go, please."

Nora reluctantly joined Dylan, crying as they sped away.

"Has Bryson lost his mind?" Dylan exclaimed. "Good riddance if he's still obsessed with his ex."

Nora hugged Mia, tears streaming down.
"Bryson, please save me," Bryson whispered, his voice fading.

Inside the crumbling building, Bryson confronted Mason. "What are you doing here? I saw Sophia's lifeless body. Did you kill her?" Bryson demanded, anguish etched on his face.

Mason's weak voice barely audible, "Bryson...help me."

Bryson's eyes narrowed. "You're begging for mercy? After what you've done?"

"Bryson, help me!" Mason pleaded, his voice laced with desperation.

"You deserve to die, animal!" Bryson spat, turning to leave.

But Mason's cries halted Bryson's retreat. Memories flooded his mind: childhood laughter, rain-soaked ball games, and bicycle adventures. All lost due to Brianna, Mason's mother.

"For the sake of the past," Bryson whispered, dialing emergency services.

In an instant, sirens filled the air as paramedics arrived. Bryson rushed to Mason, freeing him from the rubble. They stumbled out just as the building collapsed.

Two weeks passed.

In the hospital, Dylan, Nora, Husayn, Mrs. Miller, Kyle, and Alvin vigilantly surrounded Mia's coma-stricken form. Nora clutched Mia's hands, sobbing.

"Mia, if only you'd been with me, none of this would've happened," Dylan choked, earning a stern rebuke from Mrs. Miller.

"You idiot! You pushed her to this!" Mrs. Miller exclaimed.

Dylan pleaded, "I'm sorry, Mum."

Mrs. Miller's voice cracked. "I'm not your mother. I know my son."

An uneasy silence fell.

"Where's Bryson?" Mrs. Miller asked, worry etched on her face.

No one had seen or heard from him since the incident.

"Only God knows," Dylan whispered.

Nora's tears flowed. "Mia, please wake up. I miss your drunken antics, our pillow fights."

The hospital room filled with sniffles as emotions ran high.

Then, a miracle unfolded. Mia's finger twitched, her eyes slowly opening. Initially blurry, her gaze cleared, locking onto Nora's tear-stained face.

"Mia!" Nora shrieked, embracing her tightly.

Jubilation erupted.

"Saints!" Nora exclaimed.

"Sister!" Alvin screamed.

"Mia," Dylan whispered, tears streaming.

"My daughter," Mrs. Miller whispered, hugging Mia.

"A miracle," Kyle breathed, smiling.

Mia's weak smile faltered.

"Where's Bryson?" she asked, her voice barely audible.

Dylan's expression darkened.

"Probably dead with his late ex-girlfriend," Dylan muttered, sparking Nora's fury. She forcibly ejected him from the ward.

"What does he mean?" Mia asked weakly.

Nora's voice trembled. "We haven't seen Bryson since we rescued you."

Mia's eyes welled up with tears.

A doctor and nurse entered, beaming. "Our patient's awake!" the nurse exclaimed.

The doctor approached Mia. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, Doc. Can I go home now?" Mia asked.

A collective "No!" echoed through the ward, followed by relieved sighs.

"Tomorrow, you'll be discharged," the doctor assured.

Bryson lay in a different hospital, comatose since the incident. He had saved Mason, now crippled and homeless after losing the company to a spy's deceit. Brianna had kicked him out of the house and Mason became frustrated, he committed suicide.

Bryson woke from his coma, hearing this, he became sad as he  mourned Mason's fate and Brianna's cruel rejection.

Upon discharge, Bryson returned to his company, overwhelmed by pending work. A lady entered his office, handing him a letter from Sophia Bridgerton.

Bryson's eyes welled up as he read Sophia's confession and plea for forgiveness.

"I'm sorry, Sophia. Rest in peace," Bryson whispered, crying.

A week later, Bryson hosted Dylan, Mia, Nora, Husayn, Mrs. Miller, Kyle, and Alvin at his mansion.

"I love you, Mia. I'm glad to have you back," Bryson said, kissing Mia.

"I love you more, Bryson," Mia replied, their lips meeting passionately.

Mrs. Miller cleared her throat, shielding Alvin's eyes. "Don't corrupt my little boy" Everyone laughed and Alvin pouted."I'm not a kid mum, I'm 18".
Mia saw Dylan, his face had a gloomy expression and he was sad, she walked up to him and consoled Dylan, " you still remain my first love and I love you,If you need me, don't hesitate."

As they danced, Husayn kissed Nora, sparking Kyle's jealousy.

Dylan noticed and chuckled. "You like her?"

Kyle admitted, "She's taken."

Dylan laughed. "You're a playboy."

Kyle rolled his eyes. "I've changed."

Laughter filled the air as they celebrated.
