WORKING TOGETHER

Mia's relief was short-lived as Sophia stormed in, her face twisted in rage. "How could you, Sophia? Do you think harming me will win Bryson back? You're delusional," Mia scoffed.

Sophia's anger boiled over, and she slapped Mia, whose cheeks throbbed in pain. Tears streamed down her face.

"Who do you think you are?" Sophia yelled.

Mia smiled through tears. "I'm Mia, Bryson's girlfriend."

Sophia's expression darkened. "If I hit you again, you'll end up dead. Then Bryson won't even bother saving you."

Mia's heart sank as Sophia stormed out.

"Bryson, I trust you'll rescue me," Mia thought, tears falling.

Meanwhile, Alvin helped his mother, Mrs. Miller, at the restaurant.

"Alvin, I'm worried. Mia's phone's been off since yesterday, and Nora came home acting strange," Mrs. Miller said, anxiety etched on her face.

"Mum, don't worry. Mia will visit soon," Alvin reassured.

Dylan burst into his apartment, anger radiating from him.

Kyle rushed to Dylan, embracing him tightly. "My boo, I've missed you!" Dylan pushed him away, wincing in pain, and sat down.

Kyle gasped at Dylan's injuries. "What happened to you, dude?" he asked fearfully.

"Get me treated, ASAP. I'm dying," Dylan choked.

Kyle insisted, "You need hospital care, not self-medication."

Dylan glared. "I won't rest while Mia's in danger. I must rescue her."

Kyle's eyes widened. "Mia again? So this is all about her? When will you move on?" Dylan ignored him.

As Kyle treated Dylan's wounds, Dylan recounted the events.

Kyle listened, stunned. "This sounds like an action movie, so what will happen to Mia now! I pity the poor girl"

Dylan clenched his fists. "Nothing will happen to Mia. I'll save her."

Kyle questioned, "Are you Superman? Can you save Mia alone?" Dylan fell silent.

"I need to work with Bryson," Dylan thought.

"Nora was here yesterday," Kyle said, and Dylan stared in disbelief.

"Nora was here? What was she doing here?" Dylan yelled.

"Calm down," Kyle said.

Dylan eyed him suspiciously. "Did you try anything stupid with her?"

Kyle stood up, angry. "Hell no! What do you think of me? Do you even know what I went through yesterday just because of you, I couldn't even eat and you think I was here flirting with Nora? I'm so disappointed in you" Kyle yelled and stormed out of the room.
Dylan sighed heavily and he suddenly felt guilty. "What's with him? Why is he overreacting?" He thought.

Sophia was restless as she sat on her bed, crying.

"Bryson, you pushed me to this. Did you ever love me?" she sobbed.
She picked up a book and wrote a letter: "Dear Bryson...".

Bryson pleaded with Nora, "Take me to Dylan's house. He knows Mia's whereabouts." "Okay let's get going" Nora said.

At Dylan's apartment, they found him treating himself.

"What are you doing here?" Dylan blurted angrily.

Nora pleaded, "Hear us out."

Dylan rolled his eyes. "Get out."

Bryson grabbed Dylan's shirt. "We need to talk."

Dylan yelled," Bryson I don't have your time now, When I rescue Mia and she becomes my girlfriend again, I'll have time for you."
Bryson was infuriated. " In your dreams" he wanted to reply so badly but he kept his cool. "Let's work together for Mia."

Dylan scoffed.

Nora shouted, "Dylan, shut up! We're here to save Mia."

Bryson intervened, "We won't solve anything fighting. Let's make a plan."

Dylan calmed slightly.

"Let's work together, without cops. We can save Mia ourselves," Bryson said.

Dylan asked, "What's the plan?"

Bryson smiled. "Now you're speaking my language. Tell me about her whereabouts."

Dylan shared the information, and they devised a plan.
