The morning of the CMA nominations announcement was tense, not just for Georgie but for everyone at the label. The past year had been a whirlwind—her career skyrocketing from small bar gigs to sold-out venues, chart-topping singles, and an undeniable presence in country music. Now, the industry was about to acknowledge it in a way no one had quite anticipated.

Georgie arrived at the label's office for a special conference, a gathering of all their signed artists to watch the official release of the CMA nominations. The air was thick with excitement as everyone chatted, buzzing with the possibility of being recognized for their work over the past year. For Georgie, it wasn't just about her career—it was about everything she had worked for since moving to Nashville. The thought of being nominated for something as prestigious as the CMAs felt surreal.

She sat between Morgan and her manager, her heart racing as the large screen in the conference room flickered to life. The anticipation in the room was palpable. As the host of the CMA Awards began announcing the categories and nominees, Georgie's hands tightened around her cup of coffee.

The first major category they heard was Album of the Year.

"The nominees for Album of the Year are..."
Georgie's heart pounded in her chest as the host read through the names, finally landing on hers.
"Georgie Day – This Is Me"

The room around her erupted into applause. Her manager grinned, nudging her gently. Morgan leaned over and whispered, "Told you."

Georgie smiled, her heart swelling with pride and disbelief. The album had been a labor of love, and to see it recognized was more than she could have dreamed.

But the announcements weren't done.
Next up was Single of the Year.
"The nominees for Single of the Year are..."
Georgie held her breath.

"Mumma I Lied – Georgie Day"

Another round of applause filled the room. Georgie couldn't help but feel her chest tighten, the magnitude of it all hitting her. Mumma I Lied had been the most personal song she had ever written, and to see it nominated was a recognition of not only her talent but her story.

Then came Song of the Year.

"Beers on Me – Georgie Day & Morgan Wallen"

Morgan grinned beside her, clapping enthusiastically as the room buzzed with excitement. The song had been a massive hit, but to have it nominated for one of the most prestigious awards was beyond their wildest dreams.

As the categories continued, Georgie's name kept coming up:
Female Vocalist of the Year.
New Artist of the Year.
Vocal Duo of the Year – Georgie Day & Morgan Wallen, Rumours.
And finally, Music Video of the Year – Georgie Day & Morgan Wallen, Rumours.

By the end of the nominations, the room was in awe. The applause had turned into murmurs of disbelief as the sheer number of nominations Georgie had received became apparent. It wasn't just that she had been nominated multiple times—she had made music history.

As the final nominations were revealed, the host of the CMA Awards mentioned one final category that made Georgie's heart swell with pride—Morgan's nomination for Entertainer of the Year. She turned to him, her eyes gleaming as he grinned back at her, pride etched across his face.

Once the announcements were over, the head of the label stood up, clapping his hands together as he addressed the room. "Well, folks, I think we can all agree that this is one hell of a day for us. But there's one thing I want to point out here..." He turned to Georgie, his eyes filled with pride. "No one in the history of country music has ever received this many CMA nominations in their first year as a signed artist. Georgie Day, you've made history."
