As soon as Georgie ran off stage after her encore, she was met with the overwhelming cheers of her team backstage. Her bandmates, manager Anna, and the crew were all there, clapping and cheering as if they had just witnessed a historic moment. And in a way, they had. Georgie had just headlined a sold-out festival in Australia, and the energy from the crowd was still buzzing in her veins.

"Girl, you did it!" Anna shouted, pulling her into a tight hug. "That was insane!"

Georgie laughed, still catching her breath from the final song. "I can't believe that just happened," she said, her heart still pounding. "That crowd was next level."

Her bandmates slapped her on the back, each one offering their own congratulations. They were still riding the high of their performance, and it was clear that this was a night none of them would forget anytime soon.

"I've never seen anything like it," said her lead guitarist, still grinning from ear to ear. "I thought the roof was gonna blow off the place when you did that second shoey."

Georgie chuckled, shaking her head. "I couldn't believe they were chanting for it! I had no idea if I could pull it off, but I guess when in Australia, right?"

Anna laughed. "I was cringing the whole time, thinking about you chugging from someone else's boot, but you made it look good. The crowd lost their minds."

Morgan appeared then, weaving through the crowd backstage until he was by her side. His eyes were bright, and there was a smile on his face that hadn't faded since the moment she stepped on stage. "I've got to hand it to you, babe," he said, pulling her into a hug. "You just made shoeys look classy. That was something else."

Georgie leaned into him, feeling the adrenaline finally start to wear off as she caught her breath. "That was... the wildest show I've ever done. Australia knows how to throw a party."

Morgan kissed the top of her head, his voice soft. "You killed it out there. I'm proud of you."

They stood like that for a moment, taking it all in as the crew continued to buzz around them. Georgie could still hear the distant hum of the crowd outside, some of them lingering, still soaking in the night. It felt surreal.

She pulled back slightly, looking up at him. "Did you ever think we'd be here?" she asked, her voice quiet but full of wonder. "From the night we met to now?"

Morgan smiled, shaking his head. "Not in my wildest dreams. But then again, you've always had it in you. I saw that from day one."

Georgie grinned, her heart swelling at his words. "And look at us now, touring the world together."

They shared a quiet laugh, the weight of how far they had both come settling in. It wasn't just about the fame or the shows—they had grown so much as people, as artists, and as partners. This was their dream, and they were living it together.

Suddenly, Anna broke the moment by handing Georgie a glass of champagne. "Alright, enough reflection for a minute. This is a celebration, people! Georgie Day just rocked Australia's biggest festival—let's toast to that!"

Everyone cheered, raising their glasses as Anna held hers high. "To Georgie, and to many more nights like this one."

"To Georgie!" the room echoed, clinking their glasses together.

Georgie took a sip, the bubbles tingling on her tongue as she felt the love and support of everyone around her. It was overwhelming in the best way possible. She was surrounded by people who believed in her, who had been there through the ups and downs, and tonight they were celebrating her victory as if it was their own.

The night wore on, with laughter and stories filling the air. Her band swapped stories about the best moments from the show, reminiscing about the crowd's reaction to each song. They couldn't stop replaying the moment the crowd chanted for the shoey and how Georgie pulled it off without hesitation.

Morgan pulled out his phone at one point and showed her the viral clip he'd posted of her doing the shoey, laughing as they scrolled through the endless fan comments. "Look at this one," he said, showing her a particularly funny comment. "This fan thinks you're ready to be an honorary Aussie now."

Georgie chuckled, shaking her head. "I mean, after tonight, I might just have to claim dual citizenship."

Morgan grinned. "I think you've earned it."

As the night continued, the adrenaline from the performance finally began to fade, and Georgie found herself sitting on a couch backstage, her head resting on Morgan's shoulder. The celebration was still going strong, but for a moment, it was just the two of them, enjoying the afterglow of one of the biggest nights of her life.

"Do you ever think about what's next?" she asked quietly, her voice soft.

Morgan looked down at her, his hand brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Yeah, sometimes," he admitted. "But for now, I think we should just enjoy this moment. You've earned it."

Georgie smiled, closing her eyes for a brief moment. "Yeah," she agreed. "This is enough for now."

And in that moment, surrounded by the people who had supported her every step of the way, Georgie felt something she hadn't felt in a long time—contentment. She was exactly where she was meant to be.
