The excitement of moving in together had settled in, and soon Georgie and Morgan found themselves diving into the whirlwind process of house hunting. While they had both been living comfortably in their own places, finding a home they could share—a place they could build together—felt like the next step in their journey.

They spent the next few days scrolling through listings, visiting properties, and envisioning what their future home might look like.

Their first stop was a cozy house just outside of Nashville. It had a sprawling yard with plenty of space, a wraparound porch, and a rustic charm that immediately caught Georgie's eye.

As they stepped inside, Morgan took in the high ceilings and exposed beams with a nod of approval. "I like the open feel of this place."

Georgie walked over to the large kitchen, running her fingers over the marble countertops. "This is beautiful. And look at all this space! We could definitely host some friends and family here."

Morgan leaned against the island, smirking. "I can see you cooking up some late-night dinners in here."

Georgie grinned. "Oh, you mean when you're not ordering pizza?"

Morgan laughed, knowing full well that his cooking skills weren't up to par with hers. "Touché."

They wandered through the rest of the house, taking in the spacious living room, the cozy bedrooms, and the large backyard. It had a lot of the elements they both loved, but something was missing.

"I like it," Georgie said as they stepped back outside, "but I'm not sure it's 'the one.'"

Morgan nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I get what you mean. It's close, but we'll know when it's right."

The next place they visited was in the heart of Nashville, close to all the action. It was a modern townhouse with sleek finishes, a rooftop terrace, and stunning city views. As soon as they walked in, Morgan raised his eyebrows.

"Now this is cool."

Georgie, however, wasn't sold. She admired the modern design, but something about the bustling location made her hesitant. "It's nice, but... it's a little too close to downtown. I feel like we'd never get any peace."

Morgan looked out the window at the busy street below, nodding. "Yeah, it's not exactly the quiet escape we're looking for."

They both agreed to pass on the townhouse, but it had given them a clearer idea of what they didn't want: too much noise, too much city. They needed something that was a balance between the peaceful countryside and the convenience of the city.

Their next stop took them to a small, charming farmhouse just on the outskirts of town. The moment they pulled up, Georgie's eyes lit up. The house had a red front door, a porch swing, and plenty of land stretching out behind it.

"This feels right," she said, stepping out of the car with a smile.

Morgan looked around, taking in the view. "It's got potential, that's for sure."

They explored the house, which had a rustic yet modern feel. The kitchen was spacious, with an old-fashioned stove and farmhouse sink. The living room had a cozy fireplace, and there were three bedrooms, enough space for future plans and guests.

But what really sold them was the backyard—a wide open field with trees lining the edges, a perfect spot for summer barbecues, outdoor music sessions, and, someday, maybe even kids running around.

Georgie could already see it. "This place feels like home," she said softly, standing in the middle of the field.

Morgan walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Yeah, it does."
