The decision to attend the industry event together had been easy—what hadn't been as easy was figuring out how to do it with their signature humor intact. Georgie and Morgan had always thrived on keeping things light, especially when the world was watching. So, when the idea of arriving separately but wearing matching outfits came up, they both jumped at it.

It was just like old times—trolling the media, having fun with the fans, and most importantly, doing things their way.

Georgie stood in her dressing room, looking at her reflection in the mirror. The sapphire blue dress shimmered in the light, elegant yet playful with its off-the-shoulder design. Morgan had picked a matching blue suit, a subtle but deliberate choice to send the fans into a frenzy.

Her phone buzzed, and she glanced down to see a text from Morgan.

Morgan:
You ready to troll the whole world again?

Georgie smirked, typing back quickly.
Always. Let's see how long it takes them to figure out we're matching.

Morgan:
I give it 10 seconds max.

She laughed softly, feeling the familiar flutter of excitement. They hadn't made a public appearance together in months, and while the anticipation was nerve-wracking, it was also thrilling. They were back to being them—fun, unpredictable, and unapologetically in love.

Arriving separately had been Morgan's idea, a callback to their playful days at the CMA Awards. He pulled up to the red carpet first, stepping out of the car with his usual charm, immediately greeted by the flashing cameras and excited murmurs of the crowd.

Dressed in his sharp blue suit, he waved to the fans, giving them that signature grin. The excitement was already building—everyone was waiting to see if Georgie would join him. The speculation was rampant, especially after the rumors of their relationship's status.

But the real moment came when Georgie stepped out of her car just minutes later, wearing the same shade of blue.

The crowd erupted in cheers and laughter as they realized what was happening. Matching outfits—again. The fans loved it, and the photographers couldn't snap pictures fast enough.

"Georgie! Morgan!" they called out, their voices filled with excitement.

Georgie made her way down the red carpet, her smile playful as she walked confidently past the cameras. She paused just before joining Morgan, turning to the closest reporter with a mischievous grin.

"Why didn't you two arrive together?" the reporter asked, clearly catching onto the playful vibe.

Georgie feigned an innocent expression. "Oh, I had to stop and get Maccas first," she said, as if it were the most natural explanation in the world. "Couldn't walk the red carpet on an empty stomach, you know?"

The reporter laughed, and the fans nearby erupted in more cheers. Georgie winked, enjoying the moment as Morgan finally made his way over to her.

"Did you bring me fries?" Morgan teased as he wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close for the cameras to see.

Georgie shook her head, playing along. "I thought about it, but figured we should save that for after the event."

Together, they posed for the cameras, the playful banter between them completely natural. It was as if the months apart hadn't happened—as if they were back to being the fun-loving duo the fans had fallen in love with.

"Are you two trolling us again?" one fan yelled from the crowd, and Georgie couldn't help but laugh.

"Maybe!" she called back, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

The media frenzy continued as reporters rushed to ask them questions, but Georgie and Morgan kept the focus on their playful dynamic, keeping things light and fun. When asked about the matching outfits, Morgan shrugged casually.

"It was just a happy coincidence," he said with a wink. "Totally not planned at all."

The rest of the night was a blur of cameras, interviews, and fans, but through it all, Georgie felt a sense of relief. Being here with Morgan, even in the midst of the media storm, felt right. They had always thrived on keeping things fun, and tonight was no different.

Inside the venue, they found themselves in the middle of the bustling crowd of industry insiders, but for once, Georgie wasn't worried about what people were thinking. She and Morgan had proved their point—they were together, stronger than ever, and still having fun.

As they mingled with friends and colleagues, Morgan leaned down to whisper in her ear, "I think we just broke the internet, again."

Georgie giggled, nudging him lightly. "Pretty sure we did."

Later in the night, as the event began to wind down, they found a quiet corner away from the cameras. Georgie leaned against Morgan, her heart full. They had made it through the night, and while the media and fans would undoubtedly have a lot to say, none of it mattered.

"You know," Georgie said softly, "I think this was exactly what we needed. To just be ourselves again."

Morgan smiled, pressing a kiss to her temple. "I couldn't agree more. And by the way, you still owe me Maccas."

Georgie laughed, the tension of the past few months finally lifting. "We'll grab some on the way home."

As they left the event, still arm in arm, the flashes of cameras followed them, but for the first time in a long while, Georgie didn't care. She and Morgan had their fun, and they were stronger for it.

And as the car pulled away, she couldn't help but smile, knowing that no matter what the media said, they were right where they were supposed to be—together.
