The end of Georgie's tour came with a bittersweet mix of emotions. After months on the road, performing night after night, she was finally getting a chance to catch her breath. The final concert had been an emotional one—her fans showed up in full force, the energy in the room electric as she closed the tour with With You I'm Home, as always, with Morgan by her side.

But as the lights dimmed and the cheers faded into the distance, Georgie found herself thinking about what was next. The tour might have been over, but her career wasn't slowing down anytime soon. If anything, the success of her duet with Morgan had catapulted her to new heights, and the label was already lining up her next move.

Just days after the tour ended, Georgie found herself sitting in a meeting with her manager and the label executives, the excitement palpable as they laid out their plans.

"We've got a huge opportunity for you," one of the executives said, a broad smile on his face. "We want you to collaborate with another artist—a major name in country music. It'll be a game-changer."

Georgie nodded, intrigued but cautious. "Who's the artist?"

Her manager leaned forward, the enthusiasm in her voice impossible to miss. "Luke Bryan. He's gearing up for a big project, and he specifically asked for you."

Georgie's heart skipped a beat. Luke Bryan was a massive name in the industry—one of the biggest stars in country music. Collaborating with him would be huge for her career, opening doors she hadn't even imagined. But with the excitement came a flicker of uncertainty.

"Wow, that's... incredible," Georgie said slowly, her mind already racing. "But what does this mean for my time off? I was hoping to take a break before diving into the next project."

The executive waved his hand dismissively. "You'll get some time off, but this is an opportunity you can't pass up. You're in the prime of your career right now. This collaboration could push you even further."

Later that evening, Georgie sat on the couch in her apartment, her thoughts swirling as she relayed the news to Morgan. He listened carefully, his face calm but his eyes betraying the emotions swirling beneath the surface.

"That's a big deal, Georgie," he said, setting his guitar aside. "Luke Bryan is huge."

Georgie nodded, her excitement tempered by the weight of the decision. "Yeah, it is. But... I'm worried. I just finished the tour, and I wanted to spend more time with you, to take a break. And now the label's pushing me to jump into something else."

Morgan's gaze softened, but there was an edge of tension in his voice. "I get it. It's a big opportunity, but... are you sure this is what you want? We've barely had time together since your tour started, and now you're talking about diving straight into another project."

Georgie sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I don't know. Part of me wants to do it—because it's Luke Bryan. But part of me just wants to breathe for a minute."

Morgan leaned back, his expression thoughtful. "I support whatever you want to do, Georgie. But... I won't lie. It's hard when we don't have time together. I feel like we're always missing each other."

His words hung in the air, the weight of their shared reality settling between them. Georgie knew he was right. Their relationship had always had to navigate the demands of their careers, but with both of them on tour, the moments they'd shared were fleeting.

The thought of taking on another massive project, while exciting, filled Georgie with doubt. She didn't want her relationship with Morgan to fall by the wayside, but she also knew how important this opportunity could be for her career.
