THE KANG'S HOUSE WAS EMPTY, NARI WAS THE ONLY ONE AT HOME AS Vivian went into the city early morning, Elio spent the night over at Caroline's, Nathaniel went to his office early morning and Noah was doing his morning run.

" Cmon! " Nari exclaimed softly, putting the leashes on Eira and Beau— The Golden Retriever barked, brushing his snout on her knee, Nari rolled her eyes at Beau but smiled at him, her eyes flickered to the sofa, looking at the four cats who were laid, the three kittens were cuddled up while Shakespeare was far away from them, she still didn't like the cats but she didn't hiss at them anymore or try to bite them so all was well.

Nari exited her house, hearing her dog's bark, she locked the door and turned around, her brows furrowing at Tyler who stood at the bottom of her porch, hands in his pocket " Hi? " She asked him confused, he seemed serious and she didn't like it all, it made a shiver run down her spine as if telling her something was going to happen.

" We need to talk " He said seriously as Nari walked down the steps, the cold air hitting her skin, Eira and Beau sniffed Tyler " Okay? " Nari asked him confused, moving around him " Do you mind hurrying it up? I need to walk Beau and Eira " She told him.

Tyler stared at her for a moment " What happened to my Uncle Mason? " He asked and Nari's heart dropped but she feigned a look of confusion " I'm sorry? "

Tyler walked forward and she eyed him with wariness, she did not like this at all " He's dead and I want you to tell me what happened " Nari licked her lips and shook her head " I don't know — " Tyler cut her off immediately " Then let me tell you "

Nari gripped the leashes tightly around her hand, not liking that he cut her off, the urge to kill him was seeping into her bones and she counted to ten to calm them like she always did, It was something that her mother taught her, ever since she was nine, she's had these urges for maim and kill anyone who were disrespectful to her or her family.

" Stefan and his siblings , Damon and Constance, killed him because Stefan, Constance and Damon are vampires just like Nathaniel and Caroline " Tyler said, Nari pressed her lips together trying to withhold the smile that wanted to spread across her lips, she found it amusing " Who told you that? " She asked him.

" Is it true? " Tyler asked looking at her.

Nari blinked at him and sighed " Do I really need to confirm what you already know? " She asked him, lightly annoyed, Tyler swallowed " Did you know he was dead this whole time? " He asked her, moving forward, Nari poked her tongue against the right side of her inner cheek and nodded " You already lost your dad, I didn't want you to feel more pain " She said, defending herself but it didn't matter to Tyler.

Anger surged through his body and he rushed forward grabbing onto her shirt, spinned her around and pressed her against the railing of the porch, the leash in her hand fell down, Nari placed her hands on Tyler's chest and muttered " Ventus " Tyler went flying back and Beau and Eira began to bark like wild animals, growling and standing in front of their owner.

Tyler groaned in pain, hit back having hit the metal pole, Nari brushed her hand down her shirt, fixing the scrunched up mess he made " That's enough! " Nari exclaimed towards her dogs who stopped barking and went to her side, Tyler stood up, his eyes shone an amber gold " I trusted you! " He yelled at her, pain, anger and betrayal in his brown eyes.

Nari took a deep breath, holding her anger inside but her eyes were filled with anger " You need to leave before I end up killing you " She snapped at him " Because you have no idea what your Uncle was messing around with, I am sorry, I didn't tell you he died, okay, that I apologize for, but by no means are you allowed to come at me the way that you just did because I swear to Lucifer, I will kill you the next time you place your hands on me like that " Her voice was filled with anger and promise.
