After her conversation with Caroline, she headed to the locker rooms, showered, after she was done, she headed out to the front of the school, her eyes found Stefan frozen in front of the basketball court, even she was behind him, she knew that he was staring at the boy on the floor, at the blood dripping down his knee and then she remembered what Damon said, I think he's feeding again, though I'm not entirely sure.

She blew out an annoyed breath and walked over, putting herself in front of him " Stefan " She said gaining his attention, his eyes flitted down to her and his blood lust lessened and his eyes soften " Can you breathe for me? " she said softly " Just take one small deep breath, focus on the wind, on my voice, smell everything aside from the blood, smell the soft trees, try to smell my perfume if you can "

Stefan closed his eyes for a moment and took a small deep breath, he didn't focus on the trees or the wind but on her, the aroma of dark cherries mixed with vanilla filled his nose, it wasn't her perfume, it was her, he snapped his eyes open and looked at her " Thank you — " He cleared his throat, he felt embarrassed.

" It's not a problem. How about we go? " She said, she didn't want to leave him here alone, he could snap, go after the injured boy or hurt someone else.

" Zeppola's? " He asked and he watched her eyes lit up, she nodded excitedly " Yes! Also don't mistake this for kindness, we are still not friends " Lie.
