" WHY IS EVERYONE JUST COMING BACK? FIRST satan in heels, now the wicked mother? Whose next! Mr. I am so noble Elijah? " Noah groaned out annoyed, he was sitting at the dining table, the tip of his chopsticks hitting his kimbap, Nathaniel gave him a look " Please do not curse us with his appearance, Noah and nice nicknames " He said, Noah smiled at him grabbing his kimbap and placing it in his mouth, Nathaniel's eyes flickered to his youngest sister " Are you not going with Damon and Constance over to the Martin's? " He asked her.

Nari shook her head " Respectfully, I could care less about the Martin's " She shrugged her shoulders picking up white rice with her chopsticks, she gave her brother an innocent smile and Nathaniel shook his head amused " Okay— " He stood up " I'm going to the city for a few hours, don't die " He told them, looking at all of them including Vivian who scoffed.

Later on in the afternoon, Elio, Noah, and Nari found themselves in the Salvatore Boarding House " Do you really think that Isobel's telling the truth, that words gotten out of the doppelgänger and demon witch hybrid? " Elena asked, Nari pressed her lips together annoyed, her fingers tapping on her bare knee.

" Look, I didn't trust a word that she said but I think we'd be stupid to ignore the warning " Stefan said looking at Elena and Nari who were sitting on the couch beside one another, Stefan tried not to look at Noah who was playing with Nari's hair.

" You know, you both should stay here, it's better for us to keep an eye on you " Damon said and immediately Elio glared at the vampire, not liking that idea, especially when Caroline told him that Stefan was in love with Nari even though he was a girlfriend, Elio was still trying to wrap his head around that one.

" What? In the house that a vampire can enter? No! Their houses are safer" Stefan said looking at his brother as if he was the stupidest person in the planet and Elio agreed " And, unlike, Elena, Nari isn't a person who needs to be protected, she can protect herself, Nathaniel also wouldn't let anything happen to her, neither would I, or Noah and his bat, or Vivian " Elio said glaring at Damon who rolled his eyes.

Constance stood up and walked into the kitchen as Damon spoke " Well, then, we'll stay there "

" So is that the plan? Neither of you will let us out of your sight again? " Elena said looking between them and Nari agreed with her " I don't like people in my space, I will snap your neck if you stalk me, I don't like being stalked " She told them, Elio looked at her as if she was crazy " Aren't you the stalker? " He whispered to her and she hushed him.

Damon stared at both of them " Let me know when you come up with a better one " Damon said as Constance walked in, Nari's eyes widened in glee at the bowl in Constance's hand, Zeppola's.

" We have the Lockwood luncheon today — " Nari told them as she grabbed the plate from Constance who grinned at her " One of you will have to be Elena's bodyguard, I won't need one as I already assume that Constance will be mine " Nari looked at her, Constance blushed softly and nodded " Yup, I'm already certified as Nari Kang's bodyguard " She winked at her causing them to chuckle.

" That'd be me " Stefan said, eyes on his girlfriend.

" Not me — " Damon said " I have witch stuff to attend with Bonnie " Nari looked at him, licking the powder off of her lips " Speaking of that, uh, Noah's going with you " She told him, Noah furrowed his brows.

" I am? I am! I'm absolutely am " He corrected himself with a soft smile as she gave him a look " I'll even take my trusty bat— they have spikes and screws inside them, Nari also spelled them with vervain " He smiled wistfully, Stefan looked at Nari with raised eyebrow and she furrowed her brows " What? " She asked innocent " Noah is human, surrounded by demons, vampires, werewolves and witches, he needs his protection " Nari said smiling at Stefan who only sighed in amusement and shook his head.
